How much time for the trip to the canning section that they’ve probably never been to, time to sanitize the jars, and time to prep the cukes? It’s spoons that a lot of people don’t have left at the end of the day.
Sorry about the downvotes from others, but I appreciated your input and I have done that when I was a kid with my dad and I will say that they were some of the best pickles we’ve ever had. But others are correct that it’s always been most easiest just being able to pick up a jar from the store than to make a batch at home.
Though, there was this one that I loved that Walmart had that I can’t find anymore and you got me thinking I should try to make them myself when I get some time. They were sweet and spicy and went good with everything I used them on.
Have you considered making your own pickles? It’s stupid easy and you can experiment with your own flavors that aren’t commercially available.
Not everyone has the time to make their own version of every single product.
