That means the powers aren’t balanced enough. In USA I have the impression way too much power lies with 1 person from 1 party. In a democracy, absolute majorities should always be avoided in the most powerful places and policy should always remain the outcome (compromise) of talks between many different parties. The elections serve to point out how strongly represented every faction is, but no 1 faction should ever get near the amount of absolute control it has in the USA. Fact a 3rd party can’t arise means the democracy is functionally paralysed, not functioning in democratic way.

even without a phone, you pick up a lot between 10-20, and then it sticks around forever and you will always feel good about it (or bad or at least some sort of nostalgic), what you watch when you get older must be VERY good to make it onto the accumulated pile. It’s being metered too now. In Belgium it’s calculated on your max peak usage per month, averaged out over 12 months. You fastcharge 2 cars at once while running a washing machine, electric heater, vacuum, a bitcoinmine etc all at once: your infrastructure part of the bill rises. The only stupidness is that they put the “fictional minimum capacity used” too high, so you don’t benefit from practically 0 capacity usage.
