Who passes this law? Who signs it?
Exactly. Exactly.
Our system fucking sucks and is designed to protect land owners which is why we’re in this situation.

Ban corporations/private companies from holding empty residential housing. Problem solved. Not complicated. Our system fucking sucks and is designed to protect land owners which is why we’re in this situation. This is fucking up our entire society, slowly bringing us down, we’re losing to China. This change needs to happen soon otherwise we’re going to see the working class get milked hard enough that our real economy will collapse.
This is very, very bad for the future outlook of our country. It’s real, we’re in it. Something significant is going to have to change soon.
Pretty soon they’ll just need a handful of robot technicians.
Those are all great questions.
That’s pretty much the joke, we don’t have democracy in the US.
“an evergreen game in a sandbox platform, with an existing fan base, in which participants play a game that builds cognitive resilience to authoritarianism and promotes democratic norms and values.”
Already done, Helldivers 2.
They had an opportunity to make Fallout 5, but instead they chose this. It’s been 9 years Bethesda, 9 YEARS.
Methane (natural gas) is cheap because they don’t factor in the cost of climate change caused by methane emissions. Methane would be one of the most expensive if they factored in the leaks and its strong ability to trap heat in the atmosphere.
You know what cost they never factor in? The cost of climate change. If they actually factored in the cost of emissions then nuclear power would be one of the cheapest forms of energy alongside solar.
Google got rid of the dislike count on videos for a reason, holding content creators accountable is absolutely what should be done. It’s horseshit to think that content creators shouldn’t be accountable for the sponsorships they take.
This is also very likely due to older people seeing gaming as an affordable and enjoyable hobby, which would raise the average age. Gaming is the most accessible it has ever been, so it’d make sense.
the infrastructure used by the “cloud” accounts for more global greenhouse emissions than commercial flights
This comparison is bad. Commercial flights don’t use electricity, they use jet fuel, pumping fumes directly into the atmosphere. I don’t see a single complaint about HOW electricity is produced. I just read about how there’s too much solar power in California. A serious disconnect in the logic blaming AI for pollution when we should be blaming the way we produce electricity.
the price of so many things works skyrocket
That’s probably all you needed to write. Keeping prices artificially low by importing so much from China is a failing of the US.
Then WHY in the world does the US import so much from China? Seems like a pick and choose bullshit take. The US is losing against China, they’re protecting US automobile manufacturers.
Meanwhile Biden just implemented huge tariffs on Chinese EVs. Trump is a corrupt fuck running his mouth in hopes to get more money from donors.
The only reason they’re doing this is because they realized they’ll make more money by lowering prices. Do not mistake this as good will.
It’s really simple. They realized they could make more money by never releasing it. That realization has made them more money than the vast majority of game studios. It’s a glorified ship showcase simulator, that’s about it, not really a game. If they set a release date they’d reduce the amount of money they make, why would they do that?
Uber effectively weaseled their way into the taxi industry by somehow enticing drivers to work for them while also assuming all of the liabilities. Truly, capitalism at its finest.
