    Weird, 'no? Parang Stockholm syndrome, kahit in the long run it’s to their benefit if the protest succeeded.

    And not to mention that the blackout’s purpose isn’t just to reverse the planned changes; it’s also to make obscure but significant things like the whole API issue be known to everyone.

    If walang blackout, there wouldn’t have been concessions by the admins regarding accessibility features for the impaired or promises of fast tracking mod tools. Or at least that’s what I’ve heard.

    Of course all of these promises hinge on trusting reddit to follow through. At this point, a significant amount of good will has already been lost. It’s tough to win it back, if they’re even interested to do so.
