eh i was only built in the late 70s and only had a capacity of like 250 or so so i doubt they’ll find anything remarkable.

Yeah, they say converting, but that would require significant amount of work and investment of time and resources, which they have no intention of putting in. This is more putting homeless people in prison without having to go through a trial first…
As sad as it is, having prison like accommodation without getting a criminal record first, is an improvement
