As a support main, I really like the new hero! Not a big fan of the Battlepass skins. The free mission is kinda fun, but I don’t think I will buy any story missions

What are your thoughts on the new content? Likes and dislikes?

Flashpoint is interesting, seems like a more streamlined version of Control. The maps are massive and will probably take some getting used to. I think it’s not as innovative as Push but I’ll have to see how it plays out over the course of the season, people are definitely still getting the hang of it.

I haven’t played any of the story missions yet, but they look pretty fun. Otherwise I’ve really been enjoying the update so far. Player progression seems pretty solid, flashpoint has actually been really fun for the couple games of it I’ve played, and Illari has been fun to play. She feels a lot better than Lifeweaver did on release.

Disappointed that I haven’t seen a Ram skin (unless I’m missing something, I haven’t looked too closely at everything) considering how important he is to the story. Or I might just be a biased Ram main.

    I bought the story missions.

Loving them so far. I love me some high-quality, story-driven games - and these missions are just that. The only thing that bums me out is the nagging feeling that we could have gotten an entire game of these had they not “scrapped” the official PvE content. God damn, that would have been amazing…

Battlepass is hit or miss, not enough Briggity and/or Junker Queen skins for me.

Edit: Also, the hero progression system looks great. I really wanted something like that, so glad they finally added it.

Edit 2: Nevermind, was playing the story missions, got passed the loading screen, then my machine blue screened and now my PC boots straight into BIOS. Am sad.

Edit 3: Broke my Windows installation and corrupted my NTFS partition so I can’t recover it. Now I’ve lost all my work data on this machine that wasn’t backed up. Ah, life. 0/10, story missions aren’t great.

Oh no! I hope not too much is lost! I guess I’ll wait a bit until starting any story missions 😭

I just played the first mission without killing my Windows partition so I guess this is not an OW related issue. But nevertheless still sucks.

Wasn’t just Overwatch, a system update was secretly happening at the same time, and the BSOD just hit at the worst moment possible.

Everything’s lost, but it’s not purely Overwatch’s fault. Windows secretly started a feature update in the background, and the BSOD seems to have rendered the system into an unbeatable state.

I mean, Overwatch still shouldn’t have crashed the system, but that’ll happen.
