For me it’s not the fact that they slowed iPhones down, since there was a reason for it. It’s the fact that they didn’t tell people they were doing it, and that they didn’t give people the option to disable throttling.
If they’d added an option in battery settings with an explanation of what it was for, then it would’ve avoided all of this.
Looking for this comment. Transparency on this would’ve added to their credibility. It was reasonable, and could’ve been a distinguishing function to give to people.

But that would mean the user has control. Can’t do that with apple products. It’s against their laws
But you know what’s against the EU’s laws? Being a gatekeeper and not having the option to sideload apps.
