We don’t know what the problem is. DDOSs are causing one of two things. Hardware overloading or network overloading. If the problem is the first one we just donate for better hardware. If it is the second one Kapow would need to upgrade his network connection. Here I am assuming he is self hosting it.
If he is running a VPS then he would need to upgrade his VPS plan to more expensive one.
So looked into how EH is hosted and it seems like it is ran on a server by Linode. All of their plans include 40 gbps incoming traffic. Yes 40 GIGABITS PER SECOND. That is a lot. It is pretty hard for someone to generate traffic that big. It has to be someone with access to a lot of devices to generate an attack that big.
I am thinking the problem is that the hardware is being overloaded. I don’t know what EH is currently running on but it needs an upgrade.
Donations maybe?

I think MOB said other instances have been getting DDOS too, I wonder if they have been doing anything in response

I just realised that this is the wrong thread 😅
lol I saw but… it’s alright and we have only so much traffic so I figured the right few people would see anyway
