mostly what I’m wondering with this question is which instance(s) would be best to sign up for if you want to post something that will federate with a ton of other instances
or can you think of “factions” among those in the fediverse? for example I think beehaw defederated with lemmyworld and shhhhitjustworks, and I think most defederated with threadsdotnet… so the idea is that with a handful of accounts you could reach a lot of the fediverse
Yes, a lot of people use computers. I also prefer to use my phone when I’m browsing social media but I prefer the webapps when they are done well like lemmy’s one is. When the dedicated app is better I will use it of course. Dedicated video player is much much better than the browser video player for example.
