Welcome to today’s daily kōrero!

Anyone can make the thread, first in first served. If you are here on a day and there’s no daily thread, feel free to create it!

Anyway, it’s just a chance to talk about your day, what you have planned, what you have done, etc.

So, how’s it going?

Was expecting a pre-planned power outage at 9:00am, got a message around 7:00am saying the work was complete, a bit surprising, but looked at the electricity suppliers outage site, and sure enough, nothing planned for us. Guess what happened at 9:00am, yep, a power outage, ha, ha!!

Thanks, it came back after around 5 hours. We have a UPS that keeps our tablets online & fully working for a couple of hours.

Didn’t have any plans for the day but got a last minute invite from mates to go to the Kapiti Food Fair. I was planning on staying in bed and reading manga as usual, but I guess it’s not too bad to step outside every once in a while…

Yeah, our insurer said our vehicle isn’t totalled and can be repaired. They’ll also pay for long haul from SI to NI. Still a bit annoying process, I have to keep calling for updates, they aren’t very quick. We have plans with the vehicle so hopefully fixed soon.

Thanks everyone for the tips here.

        Offer is underway.

Meeting with agent I think went better than expected, our house may be worth more than we thought. Now to get some more opinions and a registered valuation to see if they’re just buying the listing or it’s actually an accurate appraisal.
