Ordered on Friday. It’s been in the fridge.
Just watch it for a bit. If it doesn’t make any attempt to move, eat it.
…or see if it passes the Turing test.
Then ask it for consent to be eaten.
I don’t think that a pizza has ever survived long enough for this to come up for me, but Friday to Monday in the fridge would be fine, I’d have said.
I mean I’m careful to only order from the place down the road that does a BOGOF offer. I’ll eat one there and then and let the other… stink out the fridge unless the family gobbles it up the following morning.
what is this ‘leftover’ pizza you speak of?
I was confused as well.
That’s fine. The main loss at this point is texture/dryness. I like to fry old pizza in olive oil in a skillet, then lid with the heat off for a minute. The steam melts the cheese and it comes back to life.
Airfryer is also great. Similar to this.
My air fryer works harder than my oven these days. I don’t even have a microwave at this point.
Exact same. Air fryer used almost every day. My oven only gets used for new pizza and occasionally when family is around so need the extra space. Microwave is used about once a month but only because its there. If it stopped working might not replace it
At this point the only thing I’d use a microwave for is to reheat hot drinks, and even then - doesn’t everyone deserve fresh instead?
Yeah just throw them away, you deserve fresh 😀. I have to admit though, we are lazy and use those microwave steam veg bags a lot if having oven food (made in the air fryer of course). Bad amount of plastic but when you’re shattered from work and life, we just wouldn’t cook the veg parts so would be a beige plate
I tried the AF a few months ago and found it just kind of made the top layer crunchy, so I usually microwave it.
Probably doesn’t help the flavour, but it keeps the texture just how I like it.
Guess it depends on the device, for me it is good if there are enough space on the edges so that the air can flow easily below. So the slices have to be small. Then the end result is more even, cheese remolten and the bottom does not get too soft or soggy.
I like to flip it too, crisp up the cheese on top.
My standard for anything is that if it’s not moldy, it’s fine.
Even some light mold isn’t bad if you eat around it.
Until breakfast the next day when it’s eaten cold.
As long as it doesn’t have sea food or chicken I’d expect it to be fine for a week in the fridge. Ideally, you put some kind of cover on it to protect it from spores.
Normally 7 days is the maximum

Depends on the topping, fish no, margarita yes. Chicken - check your access to a toilet for the day.
Op is not obese.
I mean, it was a Buy One Get One Free offer. I still ate the first pizza…
Sorry, I don’t understand the question.
I guess it also depends on the toppings. Like, seafood and big chunks of vegetables spoil faster than, say, cinnamon sticks (but the latter is quite a rare sight on pizza). At least if you care more about the food safety aspect.
Otherwise, if you were just looking for various opinions (or preferably, equivocal ones), I personally wouldn’t eat it later than the second breakfast time. I mean, the breakfast two days from delivery, not the hobbit meal. Also, if it’s as late as the 2nd day, I wouldn’t do that on a work day, or if I’m not guaranteed to have a safe emergency toilet opportunity.
If it’s not slimy or furry I’d probably nuke it in the microwave and still eat it up to a week later.
A few days is fine.
