I’ll admit I never got into Wastelands. The world doesn’t appeal to me. But I see people occasionally speak of the games but the studio made Torment: Tides of Numenera which I loved dearly and literally never ever seen spoken of. It’s a really good game which is waiting for you to discover it!
I think the reason people don’t talk about it much is that it’s a spiritual successor to Planescape: Torment (which is generally regarded as one of the greatest RPGs ever) but doesn’t quite live up to that game’s reputation. Tides of Numenera is still a good game but it could never realistically reach the level of reverence people have for P:T.
Just started this game and did a quick search to see if anyone mentions it here. Its…different lol. Not exactly what I expected but I’m giving it a fair shot.
