BG1 & BG2 are some of my favorite RPGs ever. I also love Larian’s other games so when I heard they were making BG3 I knew they would do a good job. It’s been a hard few years avoiding playing the early access version of BG3 but the news about it being reverse-delayed has me in such a good mood. I can’t wait to finally play it.

I also just recently upgraded my PC for the first time since I built my last one in 2015/2016, so hopefully I should be able to max everything out and have it look great.

By the way, if you buy the early access version before launch it automatically gets upgraded to the “digital deluxe” version, if you care about that.

I think the reason people don’t talk about it much is that it’s a spiritual successor to Planescape: Torment (which is generally regarded as one of the greatest RPGs ever) but doesn’t quite live up to that game’s reputation. Tides of Numenera is still a good game but it could never realistically reach the level of reverence people have for P:T.
