Sarcasm aside, i have nothing against helmets, whatever hat fits you best. But i’m really against helmet mandates where i live, i want our bicycling culture to be more like in the netherlands, not australia.

Fully agree. Pro helmet but anti mandate law.
When I lived in there Netherlands I road helmets for sport biking and didn’t for causal riding to the park etc.
Then one day I crashed in a hurry. Head to cement. Concussion, depression and headaches. After that it’s helmet almost all the time.
We should live in a world where it’s safe to ride free but recognize that accidents happen and cycling is inherently dangerous
