“Move Along Home” would work so much better as a Doctor Who episode. Has a kind of absurdity that is perfect for Who, but stands out in a bad way in Trek.
I have thought ‘Move Along Home’ was great since first broadcast.
DS9 hadn’t yet locked into its eventual tone, but I hold to my view that it’s an episode that wouldn’t have raised the ire of the ‘Dignity of Trek’ on just about any of the other shows in the franchise.
TNG’s “Thine Own Self” comes to mind - I guess because it has some similarities to “Human Nature”/“The Family of Blood”.
Also…dare I suggest that “Move Along Home” has a certain Whovian energy to it?

Oh good, it’s not just me!
