The thing with wifi is that it drains a shit ton of energy. A WiFi temperature sensor might last a few weeks or months but ZigBee devices can last years. Of course this depends on what kind of batteries were talking about.

I’m not quite certain this will work because I’ve not used pop os in a while. Back then they used gnome so the toggle your talking about should be available via gsettings (cli). If you find the key you should be able to run a script every boot/login to disable it.
Not the easiest solution but maybe a solution.
I can understand your feeling. I first bought Witcher 3 in 2016 or so and didn’t touch it for years. Picked it up 2 years ago again and loved it. It’s not he best combat, not the best complex game but the story really hooked me. Mind you, it does take a couple of hours for it to get going. And the secondary quests (side quests) are some of the most memorable I’ve ever played.
I don’t remember the name but it’s a depiction of a cave explorer that got stuck like that and died. While there was help at the place to try and get him out they couldn’t. If I remember correctly he’s still stuck in that same place.
I myself am a maintainer/main developer of a project and the people that help out in the group chat are a god sent. Takes a lot of pressure out of my day.
I totally agree. I’ve had my 2011 2.0 TDIe Audi A6 now for about 7 years. Never had major problems, though I specifically selected a diesel engine as the TFSI engines are crap. I also do pretty much all of.my own work so only pay for parts when something happens, which of course helps keep costs down.
If anyone is repairing or diagnosing your own vehicle in the WV group, make sure you get the VCDS software as it helps a ton! I got some cheap clone via eBay but it’s worked just fine for many years for me.
I think it depends on what you mean by stunning. I personally prefer
I’ve tried many times for a few years now to get this working. Even though I get platformio to create a compile_commands.json it still doesn’t work very well. Thinks std::string is a uint_8 and so on. I’ve just given up on it and use VS Code to program the ESPs I work with. Use neovim for everything else.
Me too, absolutely love it! Been working great for me the last couple of months.
It’s happens sometimes but I must say, not very often. I could probably count on one hand how many times that have happened through my many years of using pihole.
I’m just about to setup TP-link cameras connected to Frigate (NVR software) with a Coral TPU for offline object detection. This means I can block access to internet for the cameras and use a VPN home if I want to watch them.
I think 4G was a lot of speed for mobile devices but I must say the speeds on 5G are quite impressive. I can get about 50-70mbit/s with 4G on my phone while 5G does 300+. Do I ever need that? No.
I think it would have been better to invest in better coverage with 4G.
Yup, totally agree. Changed my microwaving habits a few years back. 3 minutes at about 600 watts works like a charm for just about everything. Add a minute or so if you’re heating soup or something else with a lot of mass/water.
I always did 2 minutes at maximum power previously and it was always like the surface of the sun on the outside and cold on the inside.
Nope, never heard of them. Like I said, it had its problems but I guess you can’t cover everything.
I would say that it is probably one of the reasons. Another is that you are just not thaught about religion as a way of living and more just like any other subject like physics or history. It’s more of a objective look at it and what makes up that religion. Like, Hinduism believes a and therefore does b while Christianity believes c and therefore does d and so on.
It also helps not being raised by religious people of course.
Here in Sweden I had a mandatory religious class. They teaced about Hindu, Buddhism, Christianity and so on. We pretty much learned of all the “major” religions and i would say it was pretty beneficial to us all. Did it have shortcomings? Yes, but it was better to get a broad perspective on things instead of just one thing to be teached as “true”. We also had history parallel with religion which tied them both together pretty nicely.
That scene with Ciri, the music, the cinematography. I can’t keep it together no matter how many times I’ve seen it!
Had a look at Louise Rossmans video yesterday about this and from what he showed he got it on all browsers.
I did the same thing. Bought it many years ago, it didn’t click with me. Tried again in 2020 and I’ve so far done all achievements and played through it about 5 times. Absolutely love it!
Yup, all valid points which contributed to me either using ZigBee or designing my own things for WiFi.
