Cars are fun to me, especially older cars that have character and aren’t so big and soundproof. I live out in the mountains and it really is a good time to go for a Sunday drive along twisty roads, no real destination in mind. For instance, in the fall, after a rain, with windows down, the vivid colors and smells help me slow down, clear my mind and remind me I’m part of the world, not just a passive observer.
And yes, I realize what sub this is in.
They went crazy and they’re no longer supermen.
They’re really common outside cities.
Why not both?
It’s an older meme, but it checks out.
My main concerns are:
More unsprung weight is always bad for suspension performance and handling.
Whenever you have to replace the rear tire, you’re also going to have to disconnect the electric connections from the motor, which coupled with the extra vibration from being unsprung, introduces a greater risk of one of the connections coming loose during riding.
If you are in an accident or hit a pothole that damages the rear wheel, you’re going to have to get an OEM replacement that will be expensive because the motor is integrated into it
Hub mounted motor? No thanks. I would rather do normal chain/belt care then deal with the inevitable maintenance issues that would lead to.
Ketchup needs to be refrigerated because it’s a cooling fluid for boiling lava hot potatoes.
Followed by X-Files of course.
A little easter egg in this comic is that the Ultramarine is primaris and the Blood Ravens are firstborn. When this comic first came out, rhinos could not transport primaris troops, so really the Ravens are just surprised that the UM is not codex compliant.
I switched from FFX to Chrome back in the day because Chrome tabs were all independent processes in task manager, and one crappy website wouldn’t kill my whole browser.
When Google started their war on addons, I switched back to Firefox.
Streets of Sim City has a rockin’ soundtrack!
Being next to the sink, might be a good idea to drill drain holes into the bins so water doesn’t get trapped in the bottom. Otherwise pretty cool! Next gridfinity step would be making some kind of purpose built holder for the flosser picks and the toothbrush head.
Former FJ-09 rider here. At first, I used a tourmaster tail bag that was held on with straps. It was very secure and held enough for an overnight trip. Eventually I got a rack and some givi hard panniers that could hold way more.
Big Triumph Bonneville vibes here.
Yes but NOT traveling back in time to cause the black plague results in all kinds of worse timeline shenanigans.
Or, to save on postage, I could poison myself WITH THIS!"
