That’s kinda what I want my wedding to be like.
“Okay, here we go! The short short version: Do you?!”
“Yes!”
“Do you?!”
“Yes!”
“Good! You’re married. Kiss her!”

and the story takes a while to get started.
That’s the problem the game has always had, though.
I played for a bit right as Endwalker came out. I went in blind, played consistently for two months, and by then, I had just finished the first third of Shadowbringers. In contrast, it took me a month-and-a-half to level my first WoW toon back during Wrath of the Lich King.
People may praise the story, but while there was a lot of great stuff, it just takes so loooooong to get there. They really do need to go through and prune the filler quests or boost experience gains.
The more I read about it, the more it reeks of a baseless smear campaign. CNN actively tried to make Biden look bad during the debate, and a huge chunk of the corporate media saw it and jumped on it.
It helped when Biden turned right around and had a strong showing at one of his campaign rallies. He had one off night, and everybody tried to make a mountain out of a molehill because they’re more concerned with making money than fighting the fascists.
In DA2’s defence, the game went from concept to release in 16 months. With a development cycle that fast, it’s a miracle it was even playable; I wouldn’t call its rampant copy-pasting “lazy”. I’d call it many bad things, because that game had tons of problems, but that’s what happens when the beancounters have an unexpected success and want to capitalize on it yesterday.
More rope to hang himself with…I hope.
We’ll find out in a little over two weeks.
Which is hilarious, because Colin Cowherd is an asshole who gets paid to spew inflammatory sports takes on camera/radio, and I fucking agree with him.
Every day is “Shut the Fuck Up Friday.”
You really should. It’s free, and for a project birthed on 4chan, is surprisingly wholesome and uplifting.
Life is unfair…
My God…it’s full of stars ads!
They shouldn’t have said this out loud; this just makes Tik Tok’s 1st Amendment case better.
I’ve been getting a lot of mileage from this.
There’s compelling arguments either way. On one hand, this is a pretty naked attempt to hit at China and control the flow of the US government’s desired information.
On the other hand, the legislation isn’t technically a ban, but a forced divestment of a corporate asset. The power of the government to force the breakup, dissolution, or divestment of corporate entities is the basis of US antitrust law, and is well established.
It’s an interesting case.
It would be the ideal platform for the GOP to run on…if they weren’t also in AIPAC’s pocket like the Democrats and Biden.
She strikes me as someone who needs good direction. She’s got acting chops, but she’s not the kind of actor who can improve a movie by her mere presence.
She’s not gonna be a legend, but she’s a solid A-tier actor.
Man, Camellia’s arc is a pretty twisty one, and she’s probably the most fascinating party member in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. If you’ve finished your fifth playthrough of BG3 and are hungry for a different flavor, WotR is an easy recommend.

Much that once was is lost, for none now live who remember it.
Why is it only a problem when they retcon female protagonists in to things rather than out?
Please don’t put words in my mouth. The issue was with how suddenly they changed it and how they clarified it, not with the change itself.
Retcons suck. Going straight from “Women can’t be made into Custodes” to “Oh, there have always been female Custodes, you just didn’t see them in 30 years of lore, even though we explicitly said they couldn’t exist!” is just lazy and jarring, no matter the subject matter. Clarifying it with a tweet instead of just letting it speak for itself just poured gasoline on it.
This is a good thing GW tried to do, they just handled it poorly.
An oldie, but a goodie.
