This means its time for me to finally play Ys IX!
Yeah, the game looks great, it has been on my wishlist since they announced it. Do share your opinions after finishing the game.
Do share some pics from your island. And your Minecraft chateau.
You makes game so difficult, 10 HP run sounds pretty tough.
Who is Keiji Muto and Masahiro Chono? Japanese wrestlers? What are their in-game name?
It keeps happening to me. Started a game on PS5, wanted something portable, so started one on Switch too. Both were slowish games, so started an action game. All these games requires somewhat long session so started one that can be played in small bursts…
Sea of Stars is pretty high on my wish list, so will probably play it within 2 years or so…
They all sound like non-answers to me. They can’t say anything about anything specific, they are making more games, they will keep making more games.
The first paragraph remineds me of motto of EDC community “two is one, one is none”; and while you can’t have a backup for each individual employees, having some redundancy is just more efficient in the long run.
I played Ori 1 recently and enjoyed it a lot. Not a perfect game, some sections / design choices felt a bit dated but other that, a very good game. And yean, the music is pretty nice.
Can Bethesda get it shut down? For copyright stuff?
Just told my kid about it, and his face broke into a huge grin. I guess that’s the target audience.
Though, Netflix has generally been pretty good with their animated shows, so won’t mind taking a look at what they do with Minecraft myself.
Hadn’t read the description, just looked it up, and yeah, it’s Provence in France, as that’s from where the devs are.
“We are thrilled to finally announce Caravan SandWitch! After two years of passionate development, with its highs and lows and especially strong teamwork, we are really proud of the results. It is definitely a dream come true! We have tried to put as much of ourselves as possible in this game. The scenery takes place in our childhood landscapes of Provence, and all the themes mentioned in the game are really close to our hearts. Knowing that people will follow our work, play our game or even livestream is really exciting!” - Plane Toast
I think this has been there policy since the start. Why do you consider it shooing themselves in the foot?
Ah, it’s finally out!
I have been keeping an eye on it, hope it comes to consoles.
Looks nice. Me wants!
I like those blue slimes…
I haven’t read the reviews in details, but it seems to be getting some really good scores. So, great news for people like me, who never played the original.
Ah, I have heard pretty good things about it. Not much of a racing game fan, but this is on my list to try.
This looks pretty good. Though, top down view, so some people won’t like it.
As the right side bar shows:
There are just too many games to play, so I rarely buy a new game right away (Nintendo games are an exception, but not always), but when a sequel is announced, or about to release, I figure I should catch up and play the previous game in the series. At least for the games that I am somewhat caught up on.
I don’t force it though, and it doesn’t work in all cases. For instance I still have to play 4-5 previous Yakuza games to play, so I don’t even care how many new games they are releasing, I’ll play them when I get around to them. Same with the Trails series, I am still in Trails in the Sky, not going to rush it.
As for the city theme of Ys IX, you are right, it didn’t look that interesting to me, at least from the trailers, but it’s Ys, and IX didn’t get reviewed badly, so want to play it anyway.
