  • To your first point: the person could be wearing a mask because they see immunocompromised in some way, which would be a protected class (disability). You can’t refuse to serve someone because they’re disabled and wearing a mask as medical equipment to supplement their ability to move about in crowds, just like you can’t refuse to serve a person because they’re disabled and using a wheelchair as medical equipment to supplement their ability to move around in crowds. That’s a lawsuit waiting to happen.

  • Yeah, getting obsessively into some kind of physical activity that gives you dopamine beyond just the basic “after workout” happy chems will absolutely transform your body. I started aerial arts at 33 after 3 years of being almost completely sedentary post-autoimmune-diagnosis and am closing in on 2 years now. I look and feel a million times better and I need to eat way more to keep up with my 8+ hours a week of intense acrobatic and calisthenic workouts xD

Down side is that if I can’t go to class I’m a grumpy bitch, lol.

Ok, being that I am on the spectrum myself I really hope this doesn’t come across offensive: are you autistic?

Because that’s the only way I can fathom you taking this literally. It’s a comic. I can assure you the artist never did this in real life. They are using art as an expression to point out that this dude’s entire bearing - the way he carries himself, the fact that he chooses to aggressively display his firearm, the clothing that he wears - is accomplishing the exact same thing that the woman in the comic is doing. It is intended to obnoxious, as it is pointing out that he is obnoxious for portraying himself that way.

Metaphor, allegory, art, my friend. It’s not literal.

  • It wasn’t “delayed”, it was temporarily waived. The function was there on launch and had the game not blown up it would have remained, and anyone not in psn regions would have simply refunded the game enthusiasts they learned of the requirement. Instead, because it got so big, the PSN linking was a part of what caused the really terrible server issues early on and so it was disabled. I don’t have easy access to the messages but some of the CMs and the CEO both confirmed this - I think someone shared the messages a few days ago here on c/helldivers2.
