They’re not just giving these AI companies your data…
It’s an optional feature, and you would choose which model you use. If you choose not to use it, or disable the feature, nobody will recieve your data. If you want a browser without these features, Librewolf will likely be a safe choice, as I don’t seem them adding this.
I hope they add DuckDuckGo as a provider. I use their chat with Mixtral often.
The joysticks don’t look like they’re in a comfortable spot for me sadly. They seem to be around where the touchpads on the Steam Deck are and personally that isn’t a comfortable spot to keep my thumbs for the majority of a play session. These devices should really just copy the Steam Deck layout, it’s already a copy of the Wii U.
They may not be what you want, but this article listed multiple distinguishing features. 1080p, 120hz, hall effect joysticks and triggers, adjustable triggers, and a camera.
I’d still choose a Steam Deck personally, but there are definitely enticing features here that I wish the Steam Deck offered.
Bottles should make it really simple. You might run into the occasional problem with the installers, but they usually have workarounds.
Looks like it allows that using ollama
Edit: according a couple issues, the flag that allows this is being ignored…
And what shit is that?
99% of things people do on a computer just require a web browser, and those definitely work on Linux.
That’s awesome, I remember him mentioning in much older videos that he wants to switch to Linux when its ready enough for him to game on. He also shits on Windows every chance he gets, so glad he got to switch.
I always check reviews for things like BT adapters to see if people mention it working OTB on Linux. Usually if the manufacturer says compatible with Linux it’ll work right away, but some want drivers installed.
Both are great! I’m using a bluetooth 8BitDo controller with a bluetooth wireless keyboard to game on my 1080TI :)
It also says they’re going to be using Framework laptops which is equally cool!
I’ve had my eye on a 240hz 1440p OLED. A while ago you could only find them around $1k, now I can find them starting at $700. Not sure if prices have dropped similarly for ones with other specs.
Fortunately that will be quite soon
I didn’t realize psn wasnt available in some countries that could purchase the game. that is really messed up.

The game said this on launch and made it clear on the steam page. Even if they weren’t enforcing it, I think its silly to be upset that they’ve started. I’d also rather sign into a PSN account and have functioning crossplay than deal with the current state of it.
Edit: oops I thought i had read it was to help crossplay, which hasn’t been working well recently. since its for nothing this is fucking stupid
Both had optional software, and I only used the keyboard. The software didn’t have to be running for either to work, it was only to configure it and then it wrote the configuration to onboard memory. It was the generic mouse and keyboard input drivers provided by Windows that was blocked and it affected a pretty significant number of users.
Tauri is the electron alternative we already have. This does look like a good framework, just not the same as electron.
