Tech lover, nazi hater.
Are these current prices? Assuming this is from England the cost is USD $4.54.
I can’t find chips, cheese, and gravy anywhere for that price.
I could only listen to them while I was employed as a driver. A few podcasts and NPR kept my brain happy.
When working at the computer I can only listen to EDM with no lyrics (possibly some ADHD).
Also delays any legal action until the owner can figure out the next seasonal outfit.
Forgot about these movies. I will be watching An American Werewolf in London this evening.
This is crazy. When I was young my friends and I went to the library a lot. We would read magazines and play tag as well as work on school projects. Banning children from a library is insane.
As usual, this is not Oakland but involves local animals.
TL;DR 5 year old bitten at the Botanical Garden and is doing “mostly fine.” As per blogger with knowledge of area: “This is and always has been a coyote denning area. Everyone who works there knows this. Yet there was no denning signage. There was no education…"
AP’s move is a little self-serving as smaller news orgs are likely to use AP’s services (as well as Reuters’).
HOWEVER, I think this is a good thing as AP and Reuters’ normally provide news based on facts written by real people.
A few companies are buying up TV stations, newspapers, and radio stations and presenting opinion as news. Sinclair’s TV news is one example.
TIL rabies and drunkenness have similar signs.
Maybe some of the people I’ve met really were sick on the head and not just drunk.
It does not prevent people from voting.
It may, however, amplify distortions of the truth or bold-face lies.
With regards to AIPAC it amplifies the voice of a group that is ONLY concerned with the advancement of Israeli interests.
The timing is interesting.
I’m posting more Thao stuff then I normally would because this is a developing story with zero communication from Thao. This does not mean she is guilty of anything.

I know this isn’t Oakland but there are cute dogs.
I had a No Mow Spring in my backyard. The yard was cut down less than a week ago because I could not go out there for 10 minutes without my eyes starting to hurt. It was worse if I tried to kill the invasives. My area has had a terrible allergy season.
Cat pic in the yard - https://lemm.ee/post/33672371
It is mostly non-native grass mixed in with invasives. There is ONE native plant I put in. Baby steps. I will add a few more natives during planting season.
Someone is asking the real questions. The AI answer may be garbage but appreciate the initiative.
As a young child I was apparently terrified of Big Bird.
It all makes sense now.
I lived near one may years ago in NYC. The young kids would often be outside playing.
OMG, I read the comments.
I’m a guy who showers daily and tries to make sure I don’t smell (breath and body). Today, however, I am off from work and only washed my face. I’ve had that not so fresh feeling all day.
I’m going to take shower right now.
edit - shower complete. also, i was trying to quote ghostbusters in the beginning but messed up it. it should have been “I looked at the comments, Ray”.
I wrote a related reply about lack of small trucks in the US last night on The Autopian.
The large pickup/SUV was not exactly chosen by the people. The 1964 Chicken Tax has limited people’s choices and remains in order to give US domestic automakers an advantage over imported competitors. Combined with CAFE rules (Corporate Average Fuel Economy) of the ’70s small trucks were effectively wiped from the US market.
Why would a US automaker produce a small truck when they could produce a larger truck with more profit?
I feel the same. If I try to install a different ROM and it falls I could be without a phone for a bit.
