Smooo-ooooth
Smooo-ooooth
God I’m glad I don’t need to deal with that. As nice as the weather is…
Fair enough, these days you do need to move a bit further out to get a decent deal. I know someone who bought a rather shabby 2br w/ parking in Carlton and rents it out for 550/week. Prices are nuts…
Yeah, that would definitely be worth moving for, although the switchboard situation doesnt sound great. For 2k/month I’d definitely be expecting a 2 bed. Same location?
How come you moved out of your old joint if I might ask? Rent went up too high?
The place I’ve been in the past 3 years is annoying to park into and very barely fits a small SUV. Parking spots are generally gonna be pretty ordinary with apartments…
I used to google my name several times as a teen but not so much now (sounds like that old euphemism). I know my real name is on a couple of publicly available reports and LinkedIn. Never googled my username though, I only ever use this on reddit and Lemmy. I could do with a good purge though
Thanks for the rec! I an actually looking for a new pair of slippers so I might check these out
Can I have @Force_majeure123@aussie.zone 's hit chocolate with a mule
So happy to hear of some good news and supportive organisations! Educational institutions can be surprisingly understanding about these things
Feeling better after getting out of bed and making myself some tacos with the last five tortillas and bits and pieces. Still have leftover pickled onions (orange and vinegar), from two weeks ago and I’m sold on having a jar of these going on at all times - just a little transforms any taco or sandwich
I’ve had no caffeine today at all. Time will tell if this gamble pays off
Edit: this wild, dangerous gamble
Now I want your slippers! They look so comfy and beautiful to boot
Gosh yes. Whenever I feel sorry for myself being sick while living alone, I have to remind myself how much worse it would be if I had young kids to look after as well! I can barely attend to my own needs.
Loading up on breakfast in bed and some TV series!
Ouch, that sounds awful. Hope it clears up soon for you - I hope it doesn’t get that bad for me. I rarely get respiratory problems. I’ve got a light dry cough/sore throat that seems to be on the mend, mostly moved back to headaches/congestion, which was what I started off with on Saturday, hopefully the worst is over…
After some awful sleep bathed in sweat and feeling like my brain was going to explode from overheating and headaches, I still feel sick so another day off work. Grumble mumble moan. Today I’m not going to do stupid shit like try and read academic articles to catch up on uni stuff, I am properly resting.
Ok nope, I’ve hit a wall. Crawled in bed with my laptop to watch something distracting/calming/wholesome. I am watching the Tale of Princess Kaguya. Wonder what else to watch after.
Such beautiful, graceful creatures!
Little boxes, little boxes…
Slow, slow start to the morning. I told work I might get a bit done today but unlikely to be a full day and I wouldn’t push myself. I’m kind of over lounging around on the couch watching TV all day (got through two seasons of Slow Horses yesterday).
Shitty sleep last night, sweated right though everything again :( so first port of call today, after a slow shower, was to get my big blanket washed at the laundromat. Coordinated nicely between that, picking up work laptop, taking a load of clothes washed at home, drying everything at the laundromat (might as well), food pickup in st kilda and a load of thermals at home.
Going round doing shit today has me feeling better. The sun is helping heaps. After lunch I’ll do some light work until I can’t. My bedroom feels like Sickness Central since that’s where I’ve been feeling the shittiest, so it’s getting aired out today in addition to a change of bedclothes. I hope the worst is over >:(
