Yeah, I saw a couple of people mention Hollow Knight and was confused, it’s not a rougelite/like game at all, just straight-up Metroidvania.
Rouge Legacy 1 & 2 are both great rougelite games.

Yeah, I don’t imagine some of the online banks changing their operations, as places like Ally already provide a lot of cover for things like overdraft.
In that scenario it becomes another reason to not do business with JP.
Yeah, that’s what sold me on it. It was just fun from beginning to end, only issue was that there was one boss that really spiked in difficulty. Otherwise I think it’s a game that knew exactly what it wanted to do and executed it really well.
No, you actually use the drill to sorta “swim” through the ground, but when you breach the surface you carry your momentum. So a lot of the gameplay is finding how to hop from area to area. What makes it challenging is that once you start digging you can’t stop until you breach the surface, so some areas (kinda like in Celeste) you are quickly navigating from platform to platform in quick succession.
I’d what the videos on the link if you want a better visual.
If you’ve ever wanted to reenact famous sword fights from Princess Bride or Zorro, the you should try En Garde. It’s short (probably 3-4 hours for the main story). But the fencing/gameplay is fun.
I wouldn’t recommend at $20, but it’s half off and I thought worth the $10 price tag.

Another fun, but short game I’d recommend is Pepper Grinder. Fun platformer with an interesting gimmick.
I think the argument is that as less people have desktops and laptops, the only people left will be more technical (otherwise they’d just use a phone or tablet). The more technical people are also likely to use Linux. So as non-technical people move to tablets and phones, technical people make up a larger share of laptop/desktop users.
Yeah, this is an American politics problem, it’s not exclusive to the Democrats. Should at least add Trump and Mitch McConnell on there.
He did at least get that in once. But yeah, it should have been a slam dunk.
Wasn’t aware of that, I was just taking a guess.
That being said I wouldn’t consider either open given those restrictions.
Since there is a user acceptance policy that restricts what you can do with the model that might be considered “partially” open.
Yeah you can see the weights, but it seems you are limited on what you can do with the weights. How we’ve gotten to the point you can protect these random numbers that I’ve shared with you through a UA is beyond me.
Sadly I think rambling about nonsense and lies coherently looks a lot better than loosely rambling about actual policies incoherently.
The fact that people think amyone came out actually looking good is the worrying part. We’ve known since the last election both candidates are a mess.
Thats my take on it at least (although with Trump I’m not sure who will be using who if he’s elected). It’s frustrating that few people are talking about this, cause at the end of the day neither of them are fit (physically/mentally) to be president. So for once it really is just about the party and policies and not the person running.
No they’ve used them on other sets, although I think primarily on sets targeted towards girls (this frozen set for example https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/elsa-s-ice-palace-43244)
Not sure if this set would be an indication that they are looking to use the more broadly.
I think it’s to late to change things up. That’s the problem, everyone told the DNC this was going to happen and yet they all just kept with Biden.
That being said, I don’t think either Trump or Biden are in a state to actually run the country. Their cabinets are going to hold all the power, and I trust Bidens cabinet over Trumps any day.
Haha, you beat me to it. I think it’s the world warning @TheBananaKing@lemmy.world
Haha, that’s fair I didn’t really vet the article as I’ve read about the concept and know it’s true (although as you point out only on a technical level).
Oddly enough I do actually think a charged battery is heavier, just as a full hard drive is heavier. But not to a degree that would matter.
You don’t have to use the app, the website is fine. However, with dominos if you aren’t using one of their coupon “deals” you’re overpaying for their food.
Their whole gimic is how the “coupons” save you money, but it’s not fast food prices without them.
That’s like 50% of all tip calculations nowadays. It’s really obnoxious and feels like it’s trying to make you feel guilty for tipping an appropriate amount, but taxes and service charges aren’t part of the service.
That’s an apples to oranges comparison. Self driving cars aren’t driving on the same roads and in the same conditions. Maybe they’re better, but that hasn’t really been tested/evaluated.
