The latest YouGov poll actually has the Lib Dems as official opposition in one of their predictions. It’s unlikely though as things need to go particularly well for them and bad for the Tories in most of the borderline seats. I’d love to see it happen!

I found that my colleague had stuck it on an i5 today.
Can we get rid of this tosser? He’s clearly got a bee in his bonnet about this. He isn’t even Bedford’s MP (although EWR will cross his patch), I guess he’s just looking out for the people of Bedford as a good Tory, as they are cursed with a Labour MP. Actually he did used to be Bedford’s MP at one point, presumably the Tories decided to move him to a safer seat.
I look forward to voting him out. He has a big majority but recent by-elections show it is possible.
1·2 months agoApparently this is the one thing which is controlled by a single gene, and works as you were taught in school with dominant and recessive traits.
Nothing else does, including the things you were taught like eye and hair colour - they are much more complicated.

1·2 months agoRATW is ace! I’m constantly shouting, “you haven’t got time for that, you’re in a race!” at the screen. Pissing about in a national park for two days, what are you doing?!
Morrisons used to do “buy as many eggs as you like”. It was ace! I haven’t been in there for a while so don’t know if they’ve stopped. But basically you could take a box and take as many eggs as you liked.
They were near the fruit and veg rather than with the other eggs (in Bedford, anyway).
Hopefully they’re still doing this.
3·2 months agoI’d love to get a job at one of these display board companies (or the local IT if they do it themselves), and tell them I can save them thousands.
A Pi Zero 2W, TFTP boot, you’ve saved masses of hardware cost and saved yourself a Windows licence.
Replicate that for all the displays over all the stores, done.
