Well I’m currently playing Armored Core 6, and I gotta hand it to em, there’s basically no story whatsoever. It’s just giant robots. And it’s pretty fantastic.

Currently playing Armored Core 6 with a Steam Controller, and I love it. But… the right track pad leaves a lot to be desired.
The best aspect of the Steam Controller, without a doubt, is the modularity and shareability of it. The standard control scheme a game tries to assume, most of the time it stinks. But being able to browse through community-made control schemes and finding one that works for me is fantastic. The highest downloaded control scheme for AC6 got me 95% of the way there; I just had to change the bindings of the back pedals to suit me. Now it uses the track pad and the gyro in conjunction-- track pad for big sweeping movements and gyro for small adjustments-- and I love it.
50%? Sounds like a passing test to me.
If that ain’t the truth. Moved across the state to find work, and obviously my old buddies can’t invite me to as many things anymore. But seeing them all on a call together playing video games without even a heads up hurts a smidge.
i hate that almost every moon knight panel posted on the internet is fake
the dracula one hurt the most
I believe that Michael Collins was explicitly not mentioned because it was believed he was gonna make it back regardless. I’m not 100% certain, but I believe the speech was prepared for the (somewhat likely) scenario that Armstrong and Aldrin could not lift off from the surface of the moon due to failure or not enough fuel to meet up with Collins in the lunar orbiter to return to Earth.
Speech prepared if Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were stuck on the moon:
IN EVENT OF MOON DISASTER:
Fate has ordained that the men who went to the moon to explore in peace will stay on the moon to rest in peace.
These brave men, Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin, know that there is no hope for their recovery. But they also know that there is hope for mankind in their sacrifice.
These two men are laying down their lives in mankind’s most noble goal: the search for truth and understanding.
They will be mourned by their families and friends; they will be mourned by their nation; they will be mourned by the people of the world; they will be mourned by a Mother Earth that dared send two of her sons into the unknown.
In their exploration, they stirred the people of the world to feel as one; in their sacrifice, they bind more tightly the brotherhood of man.
In ancient days, men looked at stars and saw their heroes in the constellations. In modern times, we do much the same, but our heroes are epic men of flesh and blood.
Others will follow, and surely find their way home. Man’s search will not be denied. But these men were the first, and they will remain the foremost in our hearts.
For every human being who looks up at the moon in the nights to come will know that there is some corner of another world that is forever mankind.
I think it goes both ways. Sports fans, clueless to the eSports scene, might say, “what’s the fun in watching someone play video games when you could just play them?” And I could say the same, and indeed I regularly say as much: “why watch someone play basketball, let’s just go play a pickup game.”
I don’t watch sports or esports, nor do I watch streamers very often, but I understand in all aspects that it’s for the entertainment value. In picking a team/player, watching their improvement, attending their games, proudly sporting their merch, etc etc.
I guess what I’m trying to say is, don’t let a clueless nobody disparage you doing what you enjoy.
HELL YEAH FOOD CRIMES IS ON LEMMY
man & girl go out to drive under moonlight. they stop at on at a side of road. he turn to his girl and say: “baby, i love you very much” “what is it honey?” “our car is broken down. i think the engine is broken, ill walk and get some more fuel.” “ok. ill stay here and look after our stereo. there have been news report of steres being stolen.” “good idea. keep the doors locked no matter what. i love you sweaty”
so the guy left to get full for the car. after two hours the girl say “where is my baby, he was supposed to be back by now”. then the girl here a scratching sound and a voice say “LET ME IN”
the girl doesn’t do it and then after a while she goes to sleep. the next morning she wakes up and finds her boyfriend still not there. she gets out to check and man door hand hook car door.
Firstly, of course they’re not paying child support, because being a sovcit requires you to be an insufferable asshole first obviously.
Secondly, I mean, I don’t condone shady businesses practices or grifting. But man, whoever running that is an absolute genius. Scammer for sure, and while I hate scammers to my very core, something about scamming these people in particular feels so very poetic. Someone should maybe tell them, but man… this is funny.
honestly, hikigaya can be such an absolute chad sometimes
I’m still trying to learn Mahjong for Yakuza 0…
It’s a marketing thing. Calling LLM’s “AI” was a very intentional move, to evoke that sense of hyperintelligence. Whether it’s truly an artifical intelligence up for debate, but calling them AI absolutely helped them gain attention (good and bad).
Also, obligatory “shut up Avina”.
If ther’s on thing I hat, it’s words ending with silent e’s. And whil we’r at it, we ned to get rid of doubl e’s as well.
