So stupid question - why does my speedo read ~3km faster than a radar thingy on the road?
Is that a safety margin thing or have i got the wrong tires installed (or similar)?

This might be an unpopular opinion, but that sounds exactly like spam to me.
I get the cross posting, rationale but I hate it (maybe I should just unsubscribe from the dupes?)
That’s fucking rad - I just hope they don’t get bombed by the IDF
/s - they’d never do that!?
Hey, illustrators are allowed to hallucinate too!
Not I if you’ve got a flamethrower!
Holy crap - get to the point!
That’s pretty awesome, good on you.
You’ve got me thinking about if there’s any childhood things that still need soothing now I’m an adult. I like this perspective of healing afterwards
What the fonk is that formula thingy??
Good points, indeed
Maybe? But mouths heal so damn fast - and getting hot coffee on a wound sounds nasty
It’s deep down in the throat/belly not up near the mouth, from what little experience I’ve had (have managed it, but didn’t really learn)
Oh, those were great
Possibly the void trilogy from peter f Hamilton.
Another one with different cultures is the expanse, by James s.a. Corey. This is more different around the belters and whatnot.
Dune and the freemen are amazing. Some of the earlier parts (this is a massive topic!) are really different, with the bene Gesserit and fremen, tleilaxu gholas, etc
Certainly the culture, with it’s post-scarcity absence of an economy stands out. I have read any from le guin, yet.
Well, there was that time they included a rootkit in their audio CDs (this went on for a couple of years. Wikipedia)
…guilty as charged
What is this? NCD?
I’m just teasing, you are being fair… Did they really expect 3 muppets to clean up faster than they could breed?
Now that’s a shit post
Maybe? Surely it’s quite a few mm to get 3km/h over though?
Sounds probably like I need to learn math again… Eww!
Actually, surely tires aren’t all the same size? Ours are recently installed and the measured difference hasn’t changed.
