My postgres is on bare metal, so I don’t think the script is setup for that,is it?

Great stuff peeps! Looks like my future is very busy with having to do a complex pictrs upgrade and then a postgres and finally lemmy. Oof! 😅
The most fascinating part about all this is that the Greek culture goes as far back as the last ice age where the Greek genesis myth references things that could potentially refer to those geographic circumstances. There were also a lot of invasions and colonization of that area and the new people tended go absorb some of the culture from the defeated ones which is where some of those names come from. Like it’s fascinating that Gaia is a pretty important goddess, but wasn’t really honored and mentioned as much as the dodecatheon and neither was Uranus. Almost like deist entities.
I’ve read people suggest that some of these almost prehistoric names come out of onomatopoeia. What do you think?
My gawds, some people need to learn what’s a homage and also stop being upset on behalf of others. This comic is fine, stop bellyaching. This is what terminal permission culture does to a motherfucker.
It’s not a parody. It’s a homage
What about sdxl?
8x smaller! That’s pretty bonkers and awesome! I hope this will become the standard as it will allow the AI Horde workers to server 10x more models each and even faster (as it will cut down the loading times). I hope it doesn’t break Loras though.
I was the top mod in-fact ;)
All my games are Foss. honesty if that happened I would be more upset they didn’t want to just collaborate on the same code
Non-tankie radical leftists tend to be in slrpnk.net and lemmy.dbzer0.com
The naming of those particular gods goes so far back it’s impossible to know with any certainty
I’m pretty sure it was just the name of the primal goddess.
There’s so many “iamverysmart” comments in here. Some people need to touch some grass.
Our long-lost cousins!
The issue seems to be caused by the latest rc from the lemmy sw which is installed in lemmy.ml. Unfortunately I’m not getting any replies on matrix
You mean, how I’ve been approached before, or how I approached others?
If you mean the former, I never was.
In the latter case, I didn’t manage to be in an org by the point I realize I might need to do this. Currently I’m trying to setup my own org and we’ll see how it goes.
Greek be like “Μην τολμήσεις να πείς οτι χρησιμοποιούμε Λατινικά!”
We don’t need a different up/down per category. We just need a system where people vote about the article once as Funny/Insightful/Important/Troll/Paywalled/Fake etc. Similar to the slashdot model.
Find Existing Groups or Projects This can be tricky if you’re totally new to this scene, and there’s no one way to do this. The writers of this zine all got involved in completely different ways. One way to start can be by poking around in social spaces. Local radical, indie, and DIY spaces sometimes have fliers and zines that might tell you about upcoming events where you can meet people. Ask around and reach out. Learn to see things that aren’t “leftist” as radical. There are powerful social spaces that aren’t legible to the state—like auntie networks—that will always be the backbone of social life. Build relationships on the fringes!
An interesting point about this. A lot of ND people have trouble reaching out actively like this. Like, it goes against all our instincts to just join something new like this and a lot of coping mechanisms to be able to fight back against them. I feel groups need to have some way to do outreach in other contexts to attract people who might be open to such orgs.
I honestly can’t play civ anymore because the ai is completely braindead, so either you play in normal mode where there’s no challenge, or you play in hard mode where the rampart cheating makes the game unimersive and grindy
