simply amazing
thats awesome! do you take turns at level changes or on deaths? the graphical leap between those two is pretty impressive.
in the US i see them ranging from $20 to $50. however i am looking on Amazon and not their own website. at 50 I agree they would not be worth it
I had some crocs for a time and they are just a firm foam clog. they are comfortable but i never felt that they were so comfortable to rave about.
perfect for the summer and walking about. great for the garden as well. Just do not leave them in the sun. learning from experience they shrink, curl up, and become unusable.
i don’t really like that original croc look, but i think at the moment it is a popular one to choose. i prefer their other styles.
overall
i don’t have really specific reasons to not get them other than preference of look/style.
dbz and pokemon as well but only when id catch it between other activities. Didn’t actually sit through an entire anime until high school where my friend borrowed me Cromartie High.
First film was probably the first Pokémon film in theaters.
twilight dungeon was the last zelda release i played. i thoroughly enjoyed all of it. nothing about the newer ones have caught my interest
Policenauts is on my list for sure, but didn’t know you could play without a light gun. do light guns work on modern tvs or is there a way to emulate the functionality?
i picked up an arc a few months ago and its been my main console. in fact it is what i’ve been playing shadow run on. i also have an rg350 something that is technically more beefier but the arc really does have a rockin d-pad. plus i play mostly sega games and so the layout is super nice for that in part.
i have a copy of shining force on Saturn waiting for me to play it. idk why I’m getting more into RPGs when i have almost no time for them. interesting reason to play a game. though whatever promotes healthy sleep habits haha.
check open discord communities for practicing languages. i know they are out there.
Alternatively, look for english speaking discord communities that you identify with or share interests.
phone, wallet, garage door opener. All things as small as i could reasonably get them. my wallet holds (and can only accommodate) my drivers license, work badge, and a debit card.
atm an iphone 14 pro. i used to use an android soap phone which was less than half the size, but sadly certain things didn’t work well on it :(
If you count a backpack, i always carry one with my laptop, a current book I’m reading, a handheld game console, and a small med kit with various otc drugs and bandages.
first two things come to mind:
water-cooler conversations at work would be different. telecommuting may be an important option during the season.
My shiny seashell collection may be in jeopardy. the ladies love seashells 🐚.
my cousins raccoon also got very hefty. i think i just chalked it up to just how he likely just has so much easy access to food on the farm.
My cousin had a pet raccoon he found as a baby on the side of the road. its mother had been hit by a truck and so he took it back to his farm where he raised it and kept it in an old chicken coop. took it to the vet for vaccinations and everything. It lived a pretty long life i recall and so long as you were nice to my cousin it was nice to you.
When wed hang out the raccoon would choose someone’s head or shoulder to perch on doing whatever activities we planned. it was certainly a fun and cute animal to have around. Of course being kids we didn’t think of any consequences of taking a wild animal from the wild. Eventually he would stop keeping it in the coop and the raccoon would just stay on the property and instantly come running to you if you’d call its name.
the biggest issue i remember was its aggression towards anyone it perceived being mean to my cousin. It was so protective. My cousins older brother used to beat up on us when we were playing on the farm, but that stops really quick when you see a sprinting ball of fur with grinning teeth charging you from the horizon. It certainly scratched him up good often and bit him a few times. It was funny to us, likely traumatizing to his brother. It would eventually do this to most anyone besides my cousin so when you’d visit he would have to greet you before the raccoon did.
so true is the meme of the forbidden pet. you wish you could have a little companion like a raccoon but its just best to admire from a distance.
i think to a degree implementations of services like Games for Windows Live stopped the first golden age for larger studio type games. ofc not all games were GFW but such a service that after its cancellation caused some games to just become unplayable on PC was wild.
I suppose it depends on how you determine best, but emulation is gonna be the cheapest and easiest.
Im very interested in getting a Nintendo Watch and Play - Zelda edition to play it on there. apparently the audio is better on the Japanese version of the game and the WnP allows you to choose what audio you want to play with as well as the language. though I’m site there is a modded rom you could emulate that does the same thing.
otherwise you can pick it up on Nintendo online shop, physical NES or the GBA classic rerelease cartridge.
Thanks for jogging my memory! I completely forgot about that core fact 😓.
i vaguely recall the retail box version of silent hill 2 or 3 for PC being not all that amazing, and later emulating the Ps2 version was a better option, not to mention the easiest option since both games for PC are not common finds. then again the PC I played Silent hill 2 on wasn’t all that beefy at the time.
maybe any games that originally were for console ported to PC with Denuvo hit this criteria. interesting question!
didn’t know about the power set. super cool bundle and the box for it is awesome. did it come with the track and field game?
Not so much these days. I have a lot of neglected home projects that I need to get done. Can’t imagine how 3 and 4s are handling things these days.
