I’ve been visiting the USA for 2 days now and I’ve seen more cops than I ever did in 6 months in China. Not to mention most cops in China aren’t armed, and are actually helpful and friendly rather than intimidating.

I always feel much safer and more comfortable in China than in the US, both from law enforcement/the state as well as other randoms.

How is Russia a bully ? They did everything possible to try and resolve the situation in the eastern Ukraine diplomatically following the coup but their efforts were consistently rebuffed. Are you even aware of the history of the conflict prior to the start of the Russian SMO ? This war started in 2014

How is wikipedia proof ? It usually perpetuates the view of the US ruling class and intelligence community, doesnt have a good track record on information about foreign countries. TASS is unreliable cause Fedipedia says so, lol. All media is inherently biased. It is an important skill to be able to dissect the information being provided to you and ask questions such as why am I being given this information ? And what are the motivations and interests of those publishing the news ?

Simply dismissing news because it is “backed by the russian gov” is not an application of critical thinking but rather the complete opposite.

I would love to live in ignorance of all of the nonsense corporate news that is produced in the west but even from there important information can be gleaned and positions better understood.
