Same, are we in the same group chat??
Whats actually wrong with this? I feel like a lawn full of mint is infinitely better than the short grass suburb lawns that are so pervasive.
Yep. Dont use Opera. They are known for being an incredibly scummy company that has done illegal things. Im 98% sure opera gx is spyware
I agree, 10 was the most fun I ever had raiding in WoW by a long shot for a multitude of reasons.
Yeah I did the 8man raids, loved them. Kind of miss doing them
Fair, but I think the analogy is closer to saying like “a car can go 120mph.” But also my reply was a bit tongue-in-cheek as evidenced by the fact that I pulled the 90% number out of nothing more than my anecdotal feeling.
But if we are going to take this post seriously, I find it highly suspect as WoW never even had any serious content where more than 40 players are acting simultaneously. And if the limit is 50, they would have had to have data even higher than that. Im not sure how they could collect such data when you would only have 40 players you put in a raid. Maybe for things where multiple raids try to work together? But then youre putting two groups that dont normally play together and comparing them to one that has been hand selected to be cohesive. Doesnt really make sense.
90% of 40 player raids are absolute nightmares. This is not right.
A guy named bowser being the villain. Why cant this be the timeline with bowsette?
Everyone praises them? The only times Ive heard (from westerners visiting/moving there) is that it is very annoying that there is never anywhere to throw away their trash
There is no extremist left in the american political discourse. Theres hardly even any left at all. And yes you really are the villain if you dont want women and minority groups to be equal with cishet white men or for israel to stop genociding.
I moved to MN about a year ago. Its a good choice
Hehehe chomp chomp :3
No no no, you just dont get it. That would cost them money and lower this quarters profits and it might not even happen!
I dont think there are multiple privacy communities because of the donain names. Its because people disagree with and dont want to be on or associate with thise instances lemmy.ml is a tankie instance, dbzer0 is specifically only for anarchists, etc.
So its actually doing what the fediverse was designed to do, and allow people to have spin offs in their own flavor. Whatever the reasoning behind creating multiple of these communities is, Im almost certain it has nit been because the domain name was too unfriendly. This is especially apparent if you look at all the popular 196 communities and why they were made.
Not really, another user explained it, but 196 at blahaj and world needed to be splintered from because of the mods, and the one on pawb is sprcifically for furry memes. 19684 i think also has a specific gimmick but im not sure what it is. So none of them are really interchangeable
My memory says that both vent and teamspeak were way better for audio, but this was also a time where no one had a mic remotely close to the average you get today. Video, yes. But skype was really buggy and often did not even work
Cant read the article due to paywall, but, nothing “went wrong” with skype, it was and has always been utter trash. Just having your username leaked was a security breach. Skype’s only merit was it was the first easy to use video calling platform that combined text, audio and streaming in one.
Theres a reason why it was so easy to move my friends group off skype to discord right when discord launched, but I havent been able to convince that same group to move from discord.
My perspective is that youre just way too used to the absolute insanity that is copyright and IP in the current world
