I don’t think I have ever paid more than $300 for one.

I bought a pixel 3a discounted to $300 when it was maybe a year old. Then when the 6a came out, I was able to trade in the 3a for a $300 credit, so ended up getting the 6a for maybe $150. Before that, I had a Nexus 5 which I also bought at $300 and held onto for years.

Back in the 90s, TV kind of sucked, so I got really into anime because I found the stories really original and entertaining. After several years of watching way too much anime, it became apparent that it was also full of tropes and unoriginality, the same stories repeated with slight tweaks. I eventually stopped watching for the most part. In recent years I have started watching anime again on occasion. There is a lot of good content to watch these days, and sometimes anime is good too.

Well there is not really any reason to speculate if you read the article. They say it’s the sound. It reaches 90 decibels right outside of people’s homes. Some people are literally losing their hearing, and doctors in the article say that exposure to loud sounds can cause all of these heart issues.

Well for one, there are no laws to prevent them from running. But as for why it’s them, as opposed to other candidates, the parties have elections (called primaries) to decide which candidate they will put forward in the general election. These two candidates got more votes in the primaries than any of their opponents. In the case of Biden, he was an incumbent, and no one generally runs against the incumbent of their own party, so he wasn’t really competing with anyone.

This bill seems somewhat misguided. How in the hell is something like a large language model going to cause a mass casualty incident? What I am more worried about is things that could more realistically pose a danger. What if robotic dogs patrolling the border have machine guns mounted on their backs, then a child does something unexpected and the robot wipes out an entire family? What if a self driving car suddenly takes off at full speed through a parade? They are trying to slot AI into everything now, and it will inevitably end up in some places that are going to cause loss of life. But chatbots? Give me a break.

I guess I just don’t see the appeal. If I wanted to interact with an AI, I can do it right now without launching a game to do it. And pointless NPCs are already one of the most annoying parts of games for me. I don’t want to waste my time reading meaningless dialogue from 100 characters trying to find the 1 person who will actually let me advance and continue playing the game. It will be even worse when they are all taking an unlimited stream of shit instead of 1 or 2 canned responses, because it will just be even harder to know who is wasting your time.

When a bunch of RPGs start doing that, they are all just going to start feeling the same.

I’m willing to keep an open mind until it releases, but that tells me that the gameplay will be nothing like the original.

Yeah my friend got a Dreamcast and then I pirated all the games for him. It was one of the most awesome consoles ever with amazing games. But the few other people I knew with one at the time also pirated games. It was just so easy because it didn’t even need a modchip or anything. Just download, burn a CD, and play.

I played it for a few hundred hours before dropping off. The single player content can last you a good while, but it does start feeling a bit repetitive.

The online multiplayer is pretty good, but the net code is not great so it can often feel laggy. This was what I spent most of my time on though.

28GB? Are they really that stingy that can’t can’t pull the trigger on 32gb for their top of the line card? The 3090 had 24gb, the 4090 still had 24gb, and now they add a measly 4gb more? This tells me that they are probably going to keep vram mostly the same on the lower cards as well.

I’m addition to the other comment, I’ll add that just because you train the AI on good and correct sources of information, it still doesn’t necessarily mean that it will give you a correct answer all the time. It’s more likely, but not ensured.

For me it’s the NES and N64. While they both have some great games to be sure, I feel that a lot of the games outside of their top 10 simply don’t hold up very well today. These systems were both limited by technical issues and were in eras when developers were still learning what makes a good 2d or 3d game.

I enjoyed it a lot during the open beta. Really looking forward to playing again soon.

I loved my virtual boy when I was a kid. It felt like the future or something. It didn’t have a lot of great games, but I did get most of the best ones when blockbuster video started clearing out their inventory and sold games for like $5 each.

When I was in school (long ago), I always kept to myself, never bothered anyone, but people still picked on me sometimes. Once I was sitting in class and another kid put me in a headlock, for no particular reason. He probably expected me to do nothing. I didn’t want to hurt him or start a commotion, but I punched right at his nose, and pulled my punch right before making contact. Well, this must have startled him a great deal, because he jumped back while letting out a loud fart. It reeked. The teacher came into the classroom and she had to clear everyone out because it smelled so bad. But anyways, I don’t think he ever messed with me again.

So basically, see if you can make them fart in front of everyone.

What amazes me is how many people care about this piece of crap in the first place. Like WHY is everyone talking about it? It could have been one of thousands of shitty tech products that I had never even heard of, but everyone wants to talk about it for some reason.
