Ads for a platform with political views that despise them. Ironic
I am the developer of the Photon client. Try it out
Ads for a platform with political views that despise them. Ironic
Webp is great for web images though, it’s very efficient
JXL is always in my heart though 🪦
What does Boost have over clients like Voyager?
I’ll try and fix that soon.
What’s dumb about the scaling? The resolution? if so, I’ll fix that.
Well links are supposed to be just !community@instance.url, but for some reason people keep making it an actual markdown link which is not what you’re supposed to do. It’s like Reddit’s r/community. You dont need a markdown link.
It’s how you’re supposed to make links. I’ve tried a lot to fix people’s messed up links for them in photon, but it ends up breaking other stuff
I’ll look into it
Are you on safari?
Piped is actually not a great platform for this because their embeds load the entire site
photon loaded it I’m so proud
I regularly search for the term “photon” because I’ve found lots of people mentioning bugs and the sort outside the photon community.
That will also get the post url from the home instance itself which is needed to federate posts.
Based on the screenshots I see, it looks a lot better. I’ll give it a try, thanks!
I’ve tried using GIMP and it absolutely sucks and I wish there was a good paint.net replacement.
Something I found about a lot of open source projects is that the UI is always terrible
Because PWAs are such a pain to manage, it’s pretty difficult for me to let the PWA have the icon and name of the instance that hosts it. You can customize your colors from the main menu > theme though.

I never thought I would go down a rabbit hole about a nursery rhyme that is associated usually with an egg
I hated that design initially but it’s growing on me. Although the previous ones were better imo.
