“that kickball with the plastic ring you bounced on“
It was called a pogo-ball. I loved mine. I remember doing skate grabs etc with it. I also remember a trick where you spun it like a top with your feet, jumped up so your feet were disconnected from it, and then landed back on it to continue pogo balling. It was a weird but fun toy.
I also choose this guy’s wife’s product.
Our office only has a kuerig machine. I choose to bring in my aeropress and a hand grinder. 1000% better than what the office has.
I have a counter top commercial grade juicer and it is an absolute pleasure to use. Manual citrus juicer
I think it would have been fun to see Gallagher back in his day. It seems like quite the spectacle.
I too choose for this company to get fucked.
Currently on vacation in Mexico using their wi-Fi. (I have a pi-hole setup at home. ). Using mobile with iOS. Tried Firefox as well as Firefox Focus. Neither blocked the annoying bits.

Model 3 Highland “Ludicrous” variant found in the Tesla car configurator code, performance specs leaked Iqtidar AliMarch 11, 2024 Tesla (TSLA) held the launch of the top-end “Performance” variant of the new Model 3 Highland globally when it introduced it last year. Still, to date, only the base RWD and Long Range AWD versions are available for sale.
However, some evidence has surfaced online that shows that the Model 3 Highland Ludicrous is just around the corner. By looking at the source code of the Tesla Model 3 online car configurator, we can find the Ludicrous variant mentioned in it.
Tesla enthusiast Justin (@hoonigan37) tracked the Ludicrous Model 3 in the configurator first. When I saw his tweet, I checked it myself — and yes, it was there. I dug a bit deeper into the code (thanks to my Web Dev background), and I found a few more details.

Another step in the right direction! It’s also hidden in the European configurator, just checked it. pic.twitter.com/14BBnbJsIB — Geitenijs (@geitenijs) March 10, 2024 – Advertisement – Screenshot: The source code lines that detail the Tesla Model 3 Ludicrous variant and its performance specifications. Screenshot: The source code lines that detail the Tesla Model 3 Ludicrous variant and its performance specifications. Source: Tesla, Inc. online studio. The more interesting aspect of this reveal is that the online configurator source code also contains the range and vital performance figures of the new Tesla Model 3 Highland Ludicrous variant. According to this leaked information, the Ludicrous Model 3 has the following specs (final specs at launch might differ):
Range: 310 miles (499 km) Top Speed: 162 mph (261 km/h) Acceleration (0-60 mph): 3.2 seconds The Performance variant of a Tesla vehicle has a lower range compared to the mid-tier Long Range variant. This is primarily because both vehicles have the same battery pack capacity installed. To provide optimum performance, acceleration, and speed, the owners will have to compromise on the range a bit.
While the Long Range AWD Model 3 Highland goes 341 miles on a single charge (EPA est.), Model 3 Ludicrous will provide 310 miles. The degradation of 31 miles is a bargain for the bumped-up performance specs.
– Advertisement – The Ludicrous version of the new Model 3 Highland is currently appearing in the backend code of both the US and European Tesla car configurations. This suggests that this version might be simultaneously launched in Europe along with the US.
The improved performance figures of the Model 3 Highland Ludicrous are also due to the better aerodynamics as well. Tesla modified the front bumper design of the Tesla Model 3 Ludicrous and added new wheels as seen in the recent sighting in Spain.
A camouflaged Tesla Model 3 Performance was also sighted in the US last week. Interestingly, it was getting transported along with the Cybertrucks. Tesla was probably shipping it from Giga Texas to the Engineering HQ in Palo Alto, California for further testing purposes (pice below).
I hate “recipe websites” that bury the instructions in unrelated bodies of text. Enjoy.
“Making vegetable stock
Get three large carrots, an onion, two leeks, and a bulb of fennel. Peel the carrots and onion; discard all but the white and light-green part of the leeks. Wash the leeks and fennel. Chop everything up finely and put it in a big pot with a few glugs of oil.
Now you’re going to sweeten up these vegetables by cooking them over low heat. You don’t want to brown them—that will make a darker, richer variant of this stock, which should be bright and clean. Add a large three-fingered pinch of salt to draw out the vegetables’ juices and turn the heat to low. Cook, stirring occasionally, for about fifteen minutes. Taste an onion. It should be quite sweet.
Add enough water to cover the vegetables, then add that amount of water twice more. Bring the water to a bare simmer and then let it cook for forty-five minutes.
Strain the stock. That’s it.”
Not sure how you feel about emulation, but take a look at FPGA systems like the MiSTer or Analog Pocket. These use hardware/chip simulation to recreate a 1:1 real hardware experience. You can also use original controllers via adapters with 0 lag, so the games feel the same too. With one of these systems you will be able to play all of those systems plus a bunch more. It’s a cool system, highly recommended.
Or the pepper mill and auto maker.
The “best” headset is a $350 pair from a company I’ve never heard of and scored an 7/10?!?
Now we need the Lance Hedrick/James Hoffman testing and best practices videos for this technique.
You’ll be able to pick it up on e-bay for $1,000.00 after the scalpers and bots buy them all out immediately.
Something, something name checks out.
