I’ll try it. Thank you
I haven’t yet but I will. Thank you
I can only answer for myself, but I use it to resume large downloads that failed and organize them.
While I run a couple headless debian at home, it’s just for using docker and I only know the very basics.
It sounds like a badass solution, but it’s over the top for me ^^
Found this one earlier. I had security concerns as it hasn’t been updated for a long time, but I’ll check it out.
Thanks :)
No I’m not talking about torrents. I already have a solution for this :)
I’m basically looking for a FOSS alternative to Advanced Download Manager.
Yes, it worked. Thank you so much :)
I just tried with Fennec and failed. How do you proceed ?
Didn’t know this one. Looks great. Will test it out. Thanks :)
Instander doesn’t work anymore as IG is forcing update since one specific build. If you want to use instander, you got to find the_dise telegram and dig a bit to find a beta version, but it’s buggy as hell. He’s planed to release an official version “in 2024”. No news since dec 23rd.
If I was not using Pihole, I’d gladly ditch Sync. While I think this is the best app around for browsing Lemmy, the business model and prices are fucking ridiculous.
Otherwise, I’d probably been using boost.
the OCI UI for opening ports is not the most intuitive piece of software I’ve seen…
Can’t agree more :)
You answered while I was editing my post. The fact is that I am not the brightest bulb in the box. I forgot to open the proper ports.
Thanks for your support :)
Exactly.
As mentioned in my post, I already use it for backing up my mobile pictures. I really want to draw a line between my personnal pics and my photo work, but I might reconsider it, as Immich is great indeed.
I gave Photoprism a shot a while ago when it was still in its early stages. Just revisited it recently, and I must say it has definitely matured and become more appealing. However, I did notice that it’s missing a few options that I really enjoy using in Lychee.
I’m already using Immich for photo backup, but that serves a different purpose.
On the other hand, Piwigo felt a bit outdated to me - almost like stepping back in time 20 years.
Still on the hunt for a good Lychee replacement.
