Won’t change any votes so everyone who is a reasonable human needs to vote blue.

My kids get upset when I tell them that any particular piece of media (I’m SO TIRED of certain Disney movies) isn’t available. They have quite literally tens of thousands of choices that I never had growing up with broadcast TV only.
Actually closed higher than open today (9-24) which is the first time in a LONG time.
It’s CLEARLY a way for foreign governments and billionaire supporters to funnel $$$ to trump without the pesky election laws getting in the way.
He’s still leading in the polls that matter these rubes are going to get us all in a heap of trouble if they re-elect their king…
Haaaaahahahhahaaaaahhaahahhaahahhaaahahahahhaaaaaa. That’s the funniest joke I’ve heard in a long time. I agree that neither Harris or Trump have the best interests of Palestinians at heart but Harris will make at least some saber rattling to try to stem the bloodshed vs Trump who will be happy to sell more weapons to anyone who wants to wipe Palestine off the map.
I’d bet money that DonOld has never actually loaded a gun. If he’s ever actually shot one it was probably handed to him with the safety off and a lot of prayer.
Uh. Second. Putin LOVES his pet Trump.
This was my takeaway also. As if Chromium and all It’s derivatives are just going to not use daddy Alphabet’s ai tech.
This is why electric cars need to be “second car” cheap. I have a super-mega-hauler-SUV because about 4 times a month, I REALLY need one. Every other trip is done in my ancient tiny Honda. Every 10k miles on my Honda at 35mpg it saves me about $1500 in running costs over the SUV. If I could buy an $8k electric runabout it’d be even faster payoff.
I really want an OPEC (one person electric car)
Backup cameras are required by law for safety reasons. Same with ABS, seatbelts, airbags etc, but a LOT of things can be ripped out.
Heat/AC are really required as well in most places.
I’d be happy if an Android or iPhone was a REQUIREMENT. It’d run the car as an app, be a nav system, entertainment and everything, plus keep the cost down even further.
Crank window (note only one!) on the ONE door with an emergency push out window on the other side. Speakers? No. A mono, Bluetooth connected one in the headrest is plenty.
It would need to be able to cruise at 70mph, but all the other little changes would mean huge weight savings and a single person “bubble shape” would be real aerodynamic. A standard 120v plug would be all that would be even offered. Keeps coat and weight down.
There is a pizza place near me that we used to order from fairly often. I was driving past and thought that I’d just stop in and grab one in person once. I would have had to yell to the cashier to order as Fox Entertainment (clearly not news) was blaring SO loudly. Noped right out and won’t go back. Have a few friends who stopped as well.
I won’t even click on Twitter links, let alone actively visit. You should do the same.
I worked at a cable company in my youth. This was the obvious response. Everyone seemed to think that if they could just have a-la-carte cable that they’d be happy (and thought that they’d pay less). What most wouldn’t believe is that a LOT of those channels you didn’t care about were either free to the provider, or in the case of things like QVC were actually subsidizing more expensive channels (ESPN being the biggest one).
I was a proud third party voter for a long time but changed my mind after watching CGPGrey’s video about first past the post. It’s not really ABOUT trying to change minds but FPTP voting rules really do mean that a two party system is bound to very basic human psychology.
And an undercount of women who are telling their husbands and anyone else who asks that they’ll be voting Trump, but will actually vote for Harris when the time comes. And an undercount of bro-ski-s who claim to support Harris, but secretly hate the fact that they can’t get a ‘female’ that will cater to their every whim and will vote Trump because he’ll increase oppression of women. And an undercount of cat ladies… etc. Most “high quality” models at least attempt to mitigate these over and undercounts, which definitely skews results, and why poll aggregators are important. It helps to eliminate biases in polling types. There’s really only ONE poll that matters. VOTE! BRING YOUR FRIENDS!
I have NO idea about the actual answer. Is it possible that these are from different time-of-day readings?
Counterpoint: being in a room with Boromir, it’s pretty unlikely that you’ll be the one to die. It’s kinda like a form of plot armor.
I debated with myself for an hour or so this AM, as this alert system SHOULD be a good thing, but in the end, I’m turning them off. There are tornado sirens for bad weather, and the odds of me actually having actionable notice from alerts like this are astronomically low.
