A trick I’ve found with the rover is to always be on a higher elevation your teammates with it. Stand on a box or something when using it near them. It’s super useful to use it when providing supporting fire as well.
You just need to be constantly aware of where your teammates are when using it.

A fellow helldiver was calling the two button doors “Friendship doors” and needed help opening them. I decided to go over and help, and after I was done, I offered a hug and they accepted. It was the best.

I tried switching to Linux when I was a kid, but figured out quickly that my scrap computer could only play my games natively. I’m not sure how it wouldn’t always be slower on Linux unless the game was built for Linux.
Yeah, I don’t want ff off. it’s a challenge sometimes to not kill friendlies with a mortar or when they run in front of my line of fire. I think it fits the theme too well to not be part of the game.
You would expect a lot of FF incidents from the minimal training helldiver’s get before being dropped.
