Dammit, SSD price hasn’t dropped here and now it’ll get more expensive.

I’m from CS too. I wonder if it’s because Lemmy requires more effort to use (actively trying it out instead of using more mainstream social media, dealing with the quirks, etc.)
LOL, tbf I’ve never eaten beef nor steaks before, so I just apply my preference of other meat instead.
Does it not work at all? I tried Liftoff and it shows the emojis, though they all have different sizes.
Wow that’s a lot more than I expected
Lol I’m quite surprised there are actually queer people here. I assumed since this is a, well, free speech Lemmy instance, this place would be filled with anti-LGBT people. So I minimized talking about it here.
Would be great if there’s something like multireddit on Lemmy, but I guess subscribing each of them is the only way to go.
Back then they told to clear browser cookies and I did, but still couldn’t get through. Didn’t know it was actually IP block.
Probably chef cat. Has more practical uses than singing.
It’s more complicated than Lemmy, but much lighter on my phone. I just treat it like any other Lemmy instance. I only check the frontpage for some news and ignore everything else.
Nice. Also happy birthday!
Didn’t know a country can take all of their regional domain by force. Wait, why is lemmy.ml still fine
Damn, didn’t expect them to close
Ahhh, that last part really helped me understand it. So they can add any additional attributes because the links are not escaped properly.
Yeah that makes sense, as that’d be a huge vulnerability. I thought it’s similar to your typical cookie stealer malware when you clicked on an infected exe.
That’s great news! I just made this post as an additional warning to other users who browse other instances, since the previous post only mentioned sidebar exploit.
Err… is it smspva.com or .eu? Also the .com domain throws an error certificate warning on my browser…
I don’t really subscribe to a community. I just join their Lemmy instance, like Kbin for general news and db0 for piracy related stuff.
