Thank you guys! Lemmy is great!
Ours has nearly 300’000 km and nearly no reparations are necessary. That’s just exceptional. Extremely well designed and high quality components it seems. That’s what counts for me, the looks, I couldn’t care less and there is worse.
Having a big economy who’s inhabitants never have to invest time into learn another language is a huge advantage for this economy. It’s not a level playing field. Today there is no reason to still support English. In Europe we should use Esperanto or another easy to learn equivalent.
I throw the Toyota Prius 2 card on the table, IT’S ON
Nope. My Linux Mint randomly wakes up from sleep mode all the time. It’s just a bug. Tried to fix it, never found solution. I guess I am fine with it. Well. Not really. Help me if you can!!11!!
Oh boy when you think you’ve done it all right with the oligarchs and stuff! NOT FAIR!
When you think you done everything right…
If they had to leave everything behind then probably also condoms - good for you! 😅
Thanks 🙏, but what you describe is a theoretical option, right? Posteo doesn’t offer to integrate such a custom domain afaik - but please correct me if I’m wrong! Do you use Posteo with a custom domain?
Could you break this down in how that works?
Yes, for a reason. You have to register with a name and an address to obtain/buy a custom domain at a third party. Your identity could be traced back via this. This is against their very strict and consistent ‘zero knowledge’ policy.
I cannot upvote this comment as much as I would want to upvote it.
Can you give examples of what you think might be working stories?
Well, read comments under their latest posts on Mastodon. Solid shitstorm of 9 Beaufort since more than a month.
No, not entirely. Posteo uses at least strong TLS (transport route encryption), meaning the message can hardly be intercepted between your (posteo) mailserver and the recipient mailserver. Everything else is unencrypted: the emails rest unencrypted on the posteo server (unless you activate crypt sorage, easy to do) and on the recipient server (e.g. Gmail). The latter will analyse your emails even if you never consented. All this can be stopped using Posteo, though. They provide a lot of tools help on this on their homepage. Look for PGP and inbound encryption.
