I may be missing something here
How many fucking letters can I use? I’m sick of editing this shit, just fucking accept the bio, damn.
I may be missing something here
I mean, I like the picture, bit you could have a cat a squirrel a coyote and a horse all doing this and say all animals are the same. It’s kind of just how quadrupeds stretch.
If we want to get conservatives on board with environmental protections, we should just start a conspiracy that the perceived rise in trans people, gays, and autistics is due to plastic ester groups in the environment. Then tell them that these groups are represented in the media so much now because the petrolium companies don’t want us to see it as a problem when the science breaks.
Brb, gotta go convince some trumpers single use plastic is making their kids gay.
Semi pro chiming in here: the infographic took an idea and ran the wrong way with it. Women are more sensitive to color, but it has to do with the context. They pick up more subtle colors without direct comparison. Its not that men can’t see the difference between lavender and piriwinkle when they’re next to each other, they’re just more likely to think their the same color if viewed sepparately.
It’s also worth noting that around age 35, both sexes lenses have yellowed enough that there’s no notable difference.
Pretty solid list, but I would add a bedroom category. Also I feel like I wash blankets more often than every two.months, but I have a sweaty girlfriend.
Well yeah fuck that guy and this program and it’s implications, but this particular issue doesn’t sound too unexpected considering the scope of the procedure.
I’m all for the science, but you know this is going to be some directly streamed ads hellspace we’ll never escape from if it comes to fruition.
Here’s a good rule for this sort of thing to move forward: No implants before right to privacy and freedom from advertising.
I say since the eighties because thats when the pseudo minimalist home design and plastic siding started, and all furniture became laminated particle board, and fucking everything starting turning beige and grey for “resale value”. Everything became so commercial it had no substance, and we quit making things that would become antiques because they became garbage.
Make everything utilitarian, but make it so poorly it fails at it’s own utility.
The most impactful examples to me are architecture and furniture. Art deco and nuveau buildings were beautiful, even minute details were meant to be looked at. The same goes for craftsman and machine age furniture. Everything has become so minimalist and utilitarian since the eighties.
Do we still throw them in the ocean when we’re done?
I know i’m not part of this ongoing debate, but it seems like you’re both right for different reasons. From an american standpoint, biden is significantly better, because of the social programs and liberal motivators he puts in place. As far as directly effecting american lives, biden helps and trump hurts.
From a global capitalist perspective, they’re both the same, with biden being slightly worse because those same social benefits pacify the left into apathy towards stopping global war, genocide, destabilization of exploited countries, and the rise of global surveillance.
Since we are forced to choose, biden seems better for america, but how does any real change happen if we’re all given our treats to stay obedient.
You should never do anything that isn’t fun. Everything is fun if you make it so.
I though it was shitty games done quick. I would check that out.
Line from a solid song by a local band i found when i was 16. Oddly enough, it never occured to me how much i liked it as a name until a decade later.
I’ve played most of the metroid games, and i know theres a ton of nostalgia for super metroid, but to this day nothing has matched the feeling of exploration and awe from Metroid Prime. Every place in the game was so radically different, and the ability to scan and learn about the environment was so unique, and exactly what i didn’t know i needed. Learning the lore and finding out what happened to the planet only by analyzing everything made the world feel like it had died, and it’s death was a tragedy. All the enemies you encounter are just local animals that don’t know better, or had been corrupted by pollution. That is, until about halfway through the game when you meet actually hostile, malicious intelligence, and the combat steps up exponentially.
It’s fantastic. I still remember being amazed at the fogging and raindrops showing up on the visor the first time you step off your ship on Talon IV. I had never seen graphocs so good, and such attention to detail, and the game was already 4 years old.
The only game i’ve ever played that felt similar was subnautica, and while it had the wonder, it lacked the melancholy and insane combat.
Prime is the best in the series, hands down.
My industry is full of pseudoscience and liars. I can’t fault them for not knowing, and probably came off as more harsh than i intended.
I correct patients all day, and got pretty burned in the long long ago on reddit by people who “know better” patting themselves on the back and getting my factual information downvoted to oblivion.
Focusing close regularly doesn’t make you short sighted, not getting enough tourquoise light on your retina from staying inside makes your eye keep getting longer instead of stopping when the focal point is correct. Well, that and genetics.
And losing the ability to see near as you age has nothong to do with pressure. Your lens is constantly adding new layers to itself to stay clear, and after 40 it’s become so thick the muscles that pull it to accommodate near vision can’t stretch it enough. By 58 it doesn’t stretch at all any more. That’s why everyone eventually needs bifocals/progressives.
Don’t state things as fact if your not sure of them.

I don’t know what he is capable of thinking, but that’s a kind of fucked up thing to put him through.
That was 17% of the total population. The price went up by 400-900%, and there was never a shortage. As usual, we got shafted.
Eostre is the fertility festival marking the start of mating season. I usually make donuts.
Grab a partner and celebrate all week.
That’s a caveat I inform people of beforehand. I am really into movies, but I have very discriminate taste, so I don’t watch very often because movies are generally dogshit. All my friends know, I will watch anything with them, but I’m going to talk mad shit the entire time. This is a really fun group activity in most cases, and often helps less informed people see through the bullshit that is modern media, but sometimes there’s someone who doesn’t get it, or needs to hyperfocus on the screen.
That signifies to me:
This person doesn’t understand the point of hanging out in a group
This person falls for blatant marketing
We will probably not be good friends
