Yea, that’s the thing haha.
Yea, that’s the thing haha.
Yeah, that’s fair
I forgot this was coming out. I think I’ll need to do a full rewatch first.
There’s quite a bit before all this, starting with Bakemonogatari.
There are many recommended watch orders like book order, chronological order and broadcast order, but I usually recommend the broadcast order. Partially because of stylistic changes over the years, but mostly because they did this order for a reason
I don’t fully agree with this. I’d just follow the broadcast order (though Kizu is a weird one). Considering Hitagi End, I think having Hanamonogatari after that makes more sense, like it was broadcasted. Same with Koyomimonogatari. The end of that ties directly into Owarimonogatari S2, so I would put that between OMG S1 and 2, as broadcasted.
I know the anime doesn’t follow the order of the books, but the anime didn’t change it up for sake of it, so it has always seemed strange to me to change that order.
Oh shit, that was a really interesting episode. Quite a deviation from the game, but a really cool one
Let’s hope so
I love this personally. Glad to see Proton slowly becoming a proper alternative to Google or MS.
Ah, that would make sense I think
It was certainly quick, and 2 seasons would definitely have been better, but it didn’t feel rushed to me.
Man, if only HIDIVE didn’t just up and leave every region other than NA. Oh well 🏴☠️
I’m glad we get to see adult Kumiko continuing the legacy
I’d be 100% down for a spin off about this
I need more Kumiko
Aaaaaaaaaaaaa!! They did it! I’m so happy!
The grown-up versions of the characters are so unbelievably pretty, it’s insane.
Very happy they didn’t skip the music this episode!
Kumiko finally being comfortable to share Asuka’s piece was a great moment.
It was also fun to see Kumiko using Taki’s mannerisms as the advisor haha. Nice nod.
This season was amazing. The whole anime was amazing. It’s KyoAni at their absolute best. While it’s not the best of all the other entries, it certainly stands on its own. My main criticism of this season is the lack of actual music playing. We couldn’t really grow along with the band like we did in S1 and 2.
As far as I’m aware, this is the end. I will dearly miss it, but I’m sure I will rewatch it many times, like I already have with the previous seasons. I don’t think there will be anything like Hibike anytime soon
Very good
A-chan will be terribly missed o7. Such an important part of Hololive… I wish her and her family all the best!
Will there be a farewell event to see her off or is this it?
I mean, you’re right, but Gainax hardly released anything the past 10 years. The last full TV anime production was in 2015 (from what I can see on Anilist). After that only a few shorts. So I don’t think Gainax’s bankruptcy has anything to do with that.
Yea that’s interesting. This article also says that Taichung is a Chinese city, when it is actually a Taiwanese city.
I’ve not properly looked at this season yet, but I’ve started Suicide Squad Isekai and NieR Automata. SSI is kinda meh so far (seen 3 eps). Harley is really fun, but the rest is meh. Despite the anime look, it doesn’t feel like it at all. Also, way too many references to other works of WB. NieR was a great start. Very interesting and despite having played the game, I find myself wondering where it’s gonna go.
I do want to watch Senpai wa Otokonoko and the new Monogatari. I liked the webcomic for the former a lot and am curious how they’re gonna handle it in the anime. The latter I will need to rewatch the entire Monogatari series first, so it might not be this season that I’ll pick up it
