“There has been Anti-Semitism, the Nazis, Hitler, Auschwitz, but was that their fault? They see but one thing: we have come and we have stolen their country. Why would they accept that?” —David Grün

I hope to see it reach 10% within my lifetime
Landlords can always charge more. The government needs to under cut them by providing affordable public housing with affordable rent or financing.
The government is obligated to provide public housing, they don’t even have to be free, just sensibly priced.
What do you aspire to achieve with this toxicity?
Israel will never know peace.
Porkbun
Not kosher and offered best price
Then water, now cement, and metaphorically Western Civilization.
It is not just in Palestine either. I haven’t felt so willing to die ever in my life before now. I don’t want to elaborate who knows who is peeping.
Let me put this way: never have I envied the Yemenis before this and I’m Saudi.
The ACA should have had a single payer option. I also believe the US government should run public hospitals and have a national generic drug company.
I would very much rather be banned than be genocided which both are for.
Just so you know, even for-life leaders change their minds.
Nah. We need another Saladin to remove the corrupt Arab leaders and sweep away the savage invaders.
The West Bank is illegally occupied
That’s a good question with no answer for. All I can say is that the decline is irreversible. I think the last president that could have done something about it was Obama, but his head was too far up Reagan’s behind.
This decline has its roots in policies set by Reagan-Thatcher, who I believe were the same person. So had Gore won in 2000, he may have delayed it but not reversed it. Clinton’s third path meant that both US parties were Reaganite.
If one day you see a US/West politician denouncing Reagan-Thatcher then and only then, things might take another route. But at that point the world would have gone multipolar anyways even if the West recovers.
No, my position is any state is authoritarian regardless of the theater that some engage in.
I look forward to seeing it play out. More competition is always better than less competition.
Most of my expense, other than taxes, are healthcare costs. I know of no way I can reduce how often my family needs healthcare, and I have thousands of dollars in healthcare debt still not paid. We rarely travel, rarely eat out, and rarely splurge. Maybe there is some way to squeeze our belts even tighter and make it work.
It is easier to just move to a country with more affordable healthcare. 12 years ago when I met Americans living and working in Japan I didn’t believe them when they said they were better off in Japan making less money than in the US because of how expensive healthcare is in the US. Now I regret not believing them. My family’s healthcare costs grew faster than our incomes.
I would think a Democratic party that can’t deliver what its base wants is an even greater threat.
