Intriguing question, I was curious if there were actually options, so asked Perplexity (ai search that provides sources, see link at bottom). Unfortunately, nothing terribly definitive other than Italy, possibly.

A mall that’s only random clothes, shoes, and jewellery stores surrounded by an ocean of parking lot is very unattractive.

As you say, a mall with actually useful stores, like grocery, pharmacy, perhaps a restaurant or two (not chain fast food), etc, with residential units on top or very close to constitutes more of a community than a mall and is very likely to be sustainable versus the former.

Right, hopefully G100UL can replace 100LL reasonably quickly, but there’s a big difference between “commercially available” and actually available. I imagine it will be quite some time until it’s commonplace for GA aircraft, unfortunately.

Leaded fuel is still used in piston airplanes everywhere. While there are ongoing efforts to develop an unleaded alternative, there is none currently available to the market.

I was driving in this area on Thursday. Definitely wouldn’t recommend anything other than a truck or Subaru. Had a full inch of mud in the wheels when I got home.

And of course, as soon as you cross the MB border, nice, reasonably well maintained pavement.
