Wenn dir der Schreibstil des Artikels von SRF nicht gefällt, kannst du dir gerne mal die offizielle Medienmitteilung des BABS, sowie die 38-seitige PDF Broschüre mit detaillierten Informationen zum Projekt durchlesen, sodass du dir ein besseres Bild über die Gründe für die Zeitdauer und Kosten des Projektes machen kannst. Dort steht unter anderem, dass die effektive minimale Umsetzungsdauer für die Realisierung von CB auf 1.5 Jahre mit Kosten von ca. 12 Mio CHF geschätzt wurde. Der Rest der Kosten entsteht also nicht rein für die Umsetzung von CB sondern vermutlich im Koordinationsaufwand und Projektplanung.

Klar, 58 Mio CHF klingt nach viel Geld, aber ich kann dir versprechen, dass die meisten Projekte, die dir als schweizer Bürger unbewusst jeden Tag helfen in ähnlichem Rahmen umgesetzt werden und aktiv daran gearbeitet wird, diese Kosten zu minimieren.

A reason why lemmy might not want to support those is, that it could give attackers an opportunity to “hijack” your login because they can decrypt what you’re sending to lemmy.
