Subscribe to the communities you enjoy, and change default view to subscriptions instead of all. At least that’s what I do.

You have no idea why it’s being used in the headlines and to what purpose but you keep it relevant in every circle you visit. Haha I’m surprised you didn’t just link a Reddit post that links to a X post about the subject.

I gave up on the company after seeing their business practices and wasting money on a “premium” paperweight with them and never looked back. Better grinders and better companies to support than these types, for me personally. I would argue unless they completely redesign their product the material won’t fix it, it will still rub at the same points because the design hasn’t changed.
Edit - checked and I have the SS version, so no lol. Also tried the plastic ring they sent that was their fix after the initial revision to the grinder, that didn’t work either. That’s the last the company said anything I heard.
The flower mill has a metallic dust issue in its design that even with a revision and a plastic ring solution does not fix. The company knows this and continues to sell the defective product. Also while it says it’s prominently made in the USA, they are not.
I fell for it like many others, just search Flowermill and dust and you can read the comments on Reddit and FC (FuckCombustion) from users.

Sure deterred them from doing it again after the first time… oh wait.
There are instance profile settings where you can change the default view to subscription you can access through the browser, and on iOS/Android there are Memmy and other lemmy apps that have their own settings as well for your phone where you can also change the settings to whichever default view you want, specific to while using the app on your phone.
Maybe reconsider where you spend your time then? You aren’t locked to a single instance. Also, sub to what you like and change your view to subscription, problem solved.
What steps did you take to preemptively block it? I want nothing to do with Threads either but am a bit confused on what I should be doing. Is there a list of instances who defederated from threads or something?
That’s not what they said, though? What weird deflecting response when you could have just said nothing.
