Riho for me was always the disappointment from early AEW days. Why they put the title on her of all people, I’ll never know.

Should have put it on Nyla Rose, and did a Britt/Rose fued for the first storyline. Remember, Britt was a face back then, but at a point I’m not sure she could have carried a brand. Whereas Nyla was ready. I’m not even a Nyla fan, but she was the clear choice.

I was fine with Jericho being the first champ, as long as Kenny Omega was the second. But that didn’t happen.

In short, early AEW was great, but misdirected. Modern AEW is…meh.

Our country is broken, and has been long before any of us were born. However in the past 8 years it’s become more divided than it ever has been at any point since the civil war.

When our forefathers designed this country, they did so with the spirit that the people would run the country. They wanted all ideas to be heard, shared,voted on, and adopted or not adopted as decided by the citizens. However in the centuries that followed various interest groups have exploited loopholes to expand their influence and slowly take over the country.

We’re now at a point where most Americans have no central viewpoint, because it’s being influenced by so many differing controlling parties.

The only way for the people to take back this country is to patch those exploits, push back against outside influence, and end donations within politics.

But until that happens, our country is working as it was designed. Maybe not in spirit, but in practice.

THAT would all be factually true. But also legal. So, again, they aren’t criminals. They’ve rigged the system so they aren’t breaking any laws by doing terrible things. That’s by design.

It’s like an actor who people yell shit at on the street. If you’ve ever seen Archer, people will drive by in cars and yell “DANGER ZONE!!!” at him passing by. Which doesn’t sound like much, until you see what H Jon Benjamin looks like. If you aren’t a fan of his, uou would not suxpect he’s even a celebrity. And so people around him just hear someone yell “DANGER ZONE!!!” and start freaking out like it’s a bomb threat.

Or like that other celebrity who had someone ask if his scene where they cut off his head was real. So he just said “yes”.

It just means their performances were so gripping that people BELIEVED in it, despite being clearly a performance.

Like those people who wrote death threats on twitter to the writers of Orange is the new Black, when they killed Posey in season 4. They were citing BLM movements, and racism. Then the actress who played Posey had to respond to say she’s not dead, just out of a job.

That’s why I say this Stardom wrestler worked the marks. She got them to pay money, just to say some shit. After 3 minutes they’re taken away, and she keeps their $20 or whatever. And she knows she “got 'em”
