So that’s a pretty interesting question, because you’re asking for a modern RTS which doesn’t quite exist. It’s not that the RTS genre died, it’s just kind of evolved into two separate paths based on what people enjoyed from those games.
For those that liked the fast action, APM, control of units, MOBAs have mostly filled that role.
For those that liked planning out and building a huge base, there are a bunch of base/empire building games.
To be fair, that’s also what our brains do most of the time.
I can recognize 2001 as being incredible and inspiring for its time, but it doesn’t hold up very well. By modern standards, it is painfully boring and tedious.
Say Biden dies tomorrow. Is it still too late to pick someone else? Would we just hand the election to Trump?
I can see that argument being made if the election was a few weeks away, but it isn’t for 4 months. Over 100 days away. Are you really saying that nothing could be done in that time? And if you think him dying would be different circumstances than the mess we’re in now, I challenge you to ask yourself why you think that way.
Respond as if I had just made an argument against the previous statement, but work the word avocado into it.
I feel like everytime I try to use the wayback machine, it just gives an error.
Your “other option” is going into a Burger King and demanding spaghetti.
And yet you’ve left your original comment up and unedited. You essentially made a big, stupid mess and then when someone pointed it out went “Oh oopsie poopsie” and walked the fuck away. Clean up your shit.
When folks start winding up in camps,I hope you’ll take comfort in the thought of “I didn’t do anything to stop it, so it’s not my fault!”
You seem to have conflated blockchain technology with cryptocurrency. Most cryptocurrencies use blockchain technology, but that’s not it’s only use case. Literally every problem you have listed relates to crypto and not blockchain itself. Blockchain is just a ledger of transactions. A private company using it to say, keep track of their inventory, or track their payments, or use it for document control, can implement it however they want.
My anime site of choice is a UI nightmare filled with ads and banners. Super ugly and bloated. And it just happens to contain pretty much every animated show or movie in history. It’s been around for over a decade now. I’ve gotta think the shittiness is intentional to avoid suspicion.
I don’t think their quality has slipped at all.
“What’s that old saying? ‘Beer before liquor, never sicker… Don’t do heroin.,’” -Bojack Horseman
This is it. That is the only path.
You don’t need Republicans to expand the court. Just saying. It’s not the ONLY path.
I’m saying she’s not very good because of her many gaffs and avoidance of questions.
And why compare her to Boebert? Boebert is a shit stain who’s unqualified to work at a fruit stand, let alone be a congresswoman. You bring up her qualifications like you think it’s some new info.
I don’t understand how people think this type of deflection is worth anything. “You think this person is bad, well what about this other person who’s WORSE?!” Yea, that doesn’t make the first person better. This isn’t a fucking grade school popularity contest.
It doesn’t mean she’s unqualified, it just means more qualified candidates may have been passed over in favor of her because she’s more diverse. And considering how bad of a job she’s doing, if you are trying to make the claim that she WASN’T a DEI hire and she was hired solely because she was the best candidate, then you are making the claim that Biden and his cabinet are so incompetent that they can’t attract anyone talented who wants to work for them.
And don’t deflect with “well the horrible people during Trump were worse!” Yea, no shit. It was the Trump presidency. That changes absolutely nothing about KJP and why she was hired.
You avoid Sweet Baby because they are “woke”.
I avoid Sweet Baby because every time they get involved the story becomes flatter than an open soda container forgotten in the fridge for a week.
We are not the same.
A clock shaped like a pile of rancid garbage is still right twice a day, as harsh as it is.
Karine Jean-Pierre is not a very good press secretary, And while I don’t know what the candidate pool was or what the vetting process was like, I think you’d be hard pressed to say that her being a black, LGBT, woman didn’t at all factor into her getting picked for the job. And while that’s not a bad thing, let’s not clutch our pearls and pretend calling her a DEI hire is some unhinged claim.
Ask yourself this, do DEI hires exist? Yes, they often do. Does KJP tick literally all the boxes for a DEI hire? She absolutely does.
Let’s say I make a banquet with lots of different food on the table. Some of its good, some of its bad, one of the dishes is lukewarm, unflavored yoghurt. Now let’s say right before everyone sits down to eat, I remove all the dishes except for the lukewarm, unflavored yoghurt. Is everyone who then chooses to eat the yoghurt doing so because it’s the one they like the best? Or did they not really have any other options?
This is the primary you believe so accurately captured the wishes of the American public. Fuck off.
