Yesterday he was a British Reform voter, today a patriotic Yank. I’m confused about his views on immigration.

Hamas have been agreeing to ceasefire proposals for a couple of months now. It’s not them that are holding up the process.
I didn’t even realise he was still hanging around until this week. He really gets about with standing in random seats around the country and all over the place political positions.
It was disappointing that they agreed to the coalition, but at the time I remained hopeful. Then conceding every single manifesto pledge and party stance to the Conservatives, without any sort of resistance, just so they could stay in some sort of power, was absolutely unforgivable.
I’d say it’s debatable that they are centre-left. I know they are labelled that everywhere, but Starmer has made notable shifts to the right (or at least towards centre) from the slow left movement since the very much centre-right New Labour of Blair.
Lucky physically. But I fear the guy who tried and failed, then looked around flustered while shimmying off stage may never recover emotionally.
But they hit so many buzzwords. 20 year old buzzwords even!
I think most of the world finds it to be an odd selling point.
Tough choices, tough choices.
He could even start some kind of alternative social media site and branded bibles.
Give that man $31 million dollars, he’s doling out free life pro tips with his global economy crashes.
Come on now, they said you can have some at home. Now go and retreat into the tiny box that you pay half your salary on and enjoy your life peasant.
But then he wouldn’t make any money.
Yeah, I’ve personally had them tagged as “leftist trump bot” since interacting with that sub once and getting banned immediately. I’ve since seen them post sane stuff elsewhere on the fediverse and was surprised as within that sub they seem completely unhinged.
Yeah I understand they were all 6th gen. My point was just that it doesn’t really make sense to blame the Dreamcast failure on its timing. Dates also matter:
Late 98 was release in Japan
Late 99 was release worldwide
Early 2000 was PS2 in Japan
Late 2000 was PS2 worldwide
Early 2001 Dreamcast was killed
Late 2001/Early 2002 Gamecube and Xbox
The meme makes it look like the Dreamcast popped up late, but timing was not the reason for it’s demise at all. PlayStation dominating the market, as you mentioned, was probably the biggest one. People knew the PS2 was around the corner and the Dreamcast had barely been out in the EU by the time the PS2 was strutting it’s stuff on the Japanese market.
Yeah, I’m of the opinion the Saturn was the real problem. It was not a bad step forward compared to the Megadrive, but compared to the PS1 it was nowhere near as good.
Dreamcast was a great console. It was really ahead of it’s time with a bunch of things, the VMUs, the internet connectivity, the range of peripherals and keyboard/mouse integration. It was the first console I ever got relatively near release and never regretted it.
This is a really odd way of putting it seeing as the Dreamcast came out before the PS2 and was discontinued before the other 2 even came out.
I would say that’s pretty silly.
I don’t understand his point. He’s saying the engine was not built for shooters, but wasn’t the engine first used in The Division? I would describe that as a shooter.
