If I saw a poll where the choices were Biden, Trump, and Taylor Swift then I wouldn’t pay any attention to that one either. You probably would, though, if it was bad for Biden.

It doesn’t matter who people expect to win and who they consider the underdog. The only thing that matters is who actually gets the most votes.

And in this poll, that person was Biden. So this poll is good news for Biden.

“I want a different nominee” does not mean “I won’t support Biden if he is the nominee”.

When a candidate loses an election, they should take responsibility for the outcome. Blaming the opponent for “stealing” an election is classic MAGA-speak.

Biden isn’t expected to help challengers. If they can’t get enough signatures or polling support to meet debate / ballot access requirements, then they certainly can’t beat Trump.

And if potential candidates couldn’t stand up to other Dems in private, how are they expected to stand up to Trump in public?

Primaries aren’t beauty pageants. It’s survival of the fittest. Candidates have to work to win over other Democrats and build a strong support network for the general. Nothing will be handed to them, because the general will be ten times harder.

I’m just speculating, but there is probably a very efficient workflow for sending a ticket to an individual (given the number of tickets police write and the revenue they generate), and I wouldn’t be surprised if the workflow doesn’t accommodate an AI operated vehicle.
