I have to set up my pc for dual boot, choose a distro, install it, get it to work if theres any issues, then sort out whats different then try and install all my apps and games to figure out what does and doesnt work from those.

Its not that I dislike Linux or have anything against it but Ive been running Windows since 1996, I know how to do things already. I just want MS to just stop being “helpful” and fuck off. The quest for ongoing revenue means that is unlikely though.

I might give Linux a try when my daughter is a bit older and I have some free time. I like the IDEA of it, but I know Windows now and already.

I dont want to have to use what limited spare time I have to learn how to use Linux, I dont have the time its that simple. I have a pc, it just WORKS. Literally everything I want to do just works. Lets be real the first movie was good, the second movie was weird but ok the rest were utterly forgettable. I watched it not long ago and while I enjoyed it, it sure as shit wasnt a good movie by my now adult standards.

There arent many times Reboots make something better than the original but this one gives me hope. Henry doesnt seem to be the kind of guy to sign on to shit and the original had some great ideas but just went all 80’s coke party with them.

I’m quietly hopeful.

It was a great idea executed poorly when it was done originally, the reboot could be a good idea if they keep the right parts and drop the shit that didnt work.

Like if you put 10 songs from 10 artists on a 100 song playlist and hit random there is a not 0% chance that it will put all 10 songs from 1 artist in a row.
